The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is boosting the development of green industrial and logistics real estate with a €72 million mezzanine loan facility to DL Invest Group, a Polish real-estate developer focused on commercial property.

European Logistics Investment has signed a loan agreement worth €111 million with Berlin Hyp. The funds will be used for the refinancing of four projects from ELI’s logistics portfolio.

The European logistics markets are currently unstoppable and are reaching record levels. Supported by the flourishing online trade and a surge in demand due to last-mile requirements, the growth prospects continue to be very positive, both from an investment and user perspective, according to Catella’s Logistics Market Map Europe 2021.

The construction works on Panattoni Park Bolesławiec, which is the developer's 22nd park in Lower Silesia, are to start this month.

Poland is leading the industrial market in terms of yearly deliveries and e-commerce is creating strong demand across Central and Eastern Europe, pointed out speakers during the logistics panel of CEE Property Forum 2021, Property Forum’s first real-life event back in Vienna since 2019 which was attended by over 400 people coming from countries all over the region and beyond.

ITM Baza Poznańska, a Musketeers Group company that specializes in warehousing of products sold through the Group’s Intermarché and Bricomarché stores, has leased 13,000 sqm of warehouse space in Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I. The tenant was represented during lease negotiations by Cresa Poland.

Real estate consultancy CBRE has named Joanna Sinkiewicz as Head of Industrial and Logistics for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). 

CBRE Investment Management, on behalf of one of its Pan-European funds, has completed the off-market acquisition of a fully-let portfolio of logistics assets in Poland, from 7R SA. Comprising a total of 44,844 sqm, the portfolio consists of 7R Park Poznań East and 7R Park Sosnowiec.

Due to the expansion of 7R's development business, the company's board has appointed Bartlomiej Krawiecki as Vice-Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, effective from September 2021, Bartłomiej Krawiecki is responsible for implementing 7R's development strategy in Poland and foreign markets. Łukasz Jachna also joins the company's management board, and from October this year, will be Chief Capital Markets Officer.

Transport services provider Regesta has moved into Hillwood Wrocław East. The new tenant took more than 17,500 sqm of warehouse and office space in the Wrocław logistics centre. Regesta was represented during the search for the new location and lease negotiations by experts of real estate advisory firm Cresa. Hillwood Wrocław East, comprising seven buildings with a total area of over 210,000 sqm, is now fully leased.
