VGP has concluded a lease agreement with Pilulka Lékárny for 4,479 sqm of warehouse space in the newly completed hall "I" in VGP Park Olomouc. The company is one of the largest pharmaceutical and pharmacy groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The warehouses in Olomouc will be used for supplying customers in several regions: Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc and Prostějov. The new premises have been implemented in the BREEAM Very Good green certification.

"VGP Park Olomouc is one of our largest domestic projects. It is in great demand among potential tenants, so it is growing rapidly. After signing a lease agreement with Pilulka Lékárny, its total occupancy has already exceeded 90%. We believe that this is the result of an optimally chosen location combined with the high quality of our buildings, which can be adapted to the different needs and technical requirements of tenants," comments David Plzák, Managing Director of VGP - Industrial Buildings.

"The new warehouse in Olomouc is another link in our logistics infrastructure, which will primarily expand our warehouse capacity and make services such as Pilulka Auto available to customers in Moravia. We, therefore, want to launch a just-in-time delivery service by our couriers for customers in Olomouc, Brno, Ostrava and other cities soon," comments Michal Hanáček, Chief Operating Officer of Pilulka Lékárny.

VGP Park Olomouc covers nearly 48 hectares and includes 213,800 sqm of leasable space suitable for logistics or light manufacturing. Thanks to its location in close proximity to Olomouc, at exit 37 of the R46 expressway, it is perfectly accessible both from the city centre and the surrounding area. It offers excellent connections to Brno, Ostrava and Hradec Králové, as well as to the surrounding countries. Moreover, its location in the centre of Moravia places it in the so-called industrial triangle together with Přerov and Prostějov.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
