Starting April 2020, Colliers International has taken over the management of two new buildings in the High5ive office complex in Kraków.

7R and Hillwood have finalized a joint venture sale of a warehouse facility to a fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners. The warehouse building is a build-to-suit (BTS) project for a leading European e-commerce platform. Last year, 7R and another fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners concluded a larger warehouse portfolio transaction in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Cushman & Wakefield advised the purchaser in both of those acquisitions.

Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków has appointed Knight Frank to manage its Fabryka Kart office building. The nearly one-hundred-year-old building has been given a new life after the revitalisation completed in 2019. Currently, it is a loft-like building with a total floor area of more than 2,500 square metres.

Skanska Property Poland has commissioned Apleona HSG Facility Management Poland with hard services for buildings 4 and 5 of the High5ive office property in Krakow. The agreed country-specific open-ended contract includes both assets supervision and complex maintenance service of all technical building systems with 24-hour emergency support.

Reino Capital, a Luxembourg-based fund and Australia's RF CorVal signed a preliminary agreement to buy BUMA Group’s real estate portfolio as part of a larger deal. The portfolio consists of 10 office properties with over 110,000 sqm GLA plus a land bank with capacity for office projects totalling more than 80,000 sqm GLA and residential projects with over 100,000 sqm of usable area.

Kraków has nearly doubled its office stock over the last four years, becoming the largest and fastest-growing regional city office market in Poland, according to a new report by Savills.

Diamante Plaza, an office building located in Kraków, was sold to Catalyst Capital. Experts from Capital Markets at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland provided commercial advisory to the buyer and supported him in finalising the purchase.  

Savills has been appointed as sole adviser to M7 Real Estate for the fund’s entire office portfolio. Savills will be responsible for office space leasing and property management. The portfolio comprises a total of approximately 73,500 sqm across seven buildings located in four cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw and Katowice.

Union Investment has agreed to acquire two planned hotel properties in Kraków and Katowice with a total of 527 rooms. The developer, vendor and future operator of the two midscale hotels, which are scheduled for completion in autumn 2021, is UBM. The purchase price of the ibis Styles-branded hotel in Kraków and Mercure-branded hotel in Katowice is approximately €86 million in total. Both leases run for 25 years.

Cavatina Holding has signed a sale agreement for the Equal Business Park office complex in Kraków. The complex comprises four buildings offering a total of over 60,000 sqm of Class A office space. The buyer is a joint venture managed by Apollo-Rida Poland.
