Zeitgeist Asset Management, a company specializing in development services and asset management for private and institutional investors, purchased two properties in Kraków from Orange. One of them is a historic building at ul. Wielopole 2, where the seat of the Main Post Office is located, the second one is a partially built-up plot at ul. Cystersów 21.

Cromwell European REIT has announced that it is to acquire six office properties in France and Poland. CEREIT is to pay €246.9 million for all six properties.

Krakow’s office stock has increased by more than 15% over the year to more than 1.3 million sqm at the end of Q1 2019. According to “Occupier Economics: Office Market in Krakow Q1 2019”, a report published by m Cresa, the capital city of Lesser Poland continues to attract tenants and this trend is likely to carry on into the near future given the economic and cultural potential.

Globalworth has completed new acquisitions of two buildings in Poland, Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT) in Warsaw and Rondo Business Park in Krakow, for c. €170 million. Including these recent additions, Globalworth’s Polish portfolio has grown to almost 500,000 sqm of GLA in office and mixed-use properties.

JLL has represented a leading multi-product real estate manager for institutional investors, on the sale transaction of the K1 office building. The project was acquired by the Luxemburg fund FLE SICAV FIS – for investments in CEE and DACH exclusively advised by FLE GmbH, headquartered in Vienna. The value of the transaction is confidential.

According to a recent report by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, Kraków and Wrocław are at the lead of cities with the highest volume of new office supply for 2018 in Poland. The two markets hold 59% of the new space completed and delivered in the eight key regional cities and account for more than half of the net take-up generated last year.

Aberdeen Standard European Logistics Income PLC has acquired a logistics warehouse in Kraków from global real estate developers Panattoni Development Co and Marvipol SA.

They compete for shared services centres not only with other Polish cities but also with large urban areas worldwide, according to Cresa’s report on the Polish outsourcing market.

Galeria Bronowice, managed by Ceetrus Poland, received the BREEAM-In-Use Certificate with the highest “Excellent” rating. The document confirms that the facility in Kraków is an environmentally-friendly building operating in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Galeria Bronowice received this distinction in two categories, for building management and for the building itself.

After nearly a decade, the Avatar office building will be offering office space for lease again. A total of 2,400 sqm of space spread over two storeys will become available for new tenants in Q2 2020. BNP Paribas Real Estate will represent the building’s owner – the Spanish fund Azora Europa, as the exclusive agent for the leasing process.
