Prologis has launched its Essentials Marketplace for Europe, a procurement tool that saves customers time when setting up, expanding or upgrading their operations. This online platform offers a raft of key warehouse interior products and fully managed instalment processes.

DL Invest Group has concluded a cooperation agreement with DHL Supply Chain Polska concerning the joint development of the logistics centre DL Invest Park Psary. Right next to the DK-86 route in Psary in Silesia, modern warehouse buildings with a total area of over 200,000 sqm will be constructed.

Savills Investment Management has acquired a logistics property in Łódź, Poland, and two adjacent distribution centres in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, for a total of c. €52 million. The Polish property was purchased on behalf of the Savills IM European Logistics Fund 2 (ELF 2) portfolio, which now comprises 26 properties. The two Dutch logistics properties constitute the third transaction on behalf of the European Logistics Fund 3 (ELF 3), which was launched in late 2019.

Panattoni has begun construction on City Logistics Warsaw V in the city’s Rembertów district with a total area of over 11,000 sqm. The building is dedicated to Warsaw logistics and has been built with Small Business Unit modules with a minimum size of 1,080 sqm. The work is to be completed in Q2 2021.

Deloitte Romania and Reff & Associates, the law firm representing Deloitte Legal global network in Romania, provided assistance to Haier Tech, a Romanian company belonging to the Haier Group, in the project for building in Prahova county the first Haier’s refrigeration factory in the European Union. After assisting Haier Tech in obtaining the financing agreement for state aid in December 2019, Deloitte’s Management Consulting practice is now advising Haier Tech in the implementation of the large investment project that exceeds €53 million, for which the state will provide aid of €25 million.

Savills Investment Management has acquired another logistics unit in Łódź. The property was purchased from Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment manager, on behalf of the Savills IM European Logistics Fund 2 (ELF 2), which now owns 26 properties in Europe.

Accolade and Aareal Bank of Germany have agreed on the refinancing of six parks in Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Lublin, Legnica, Białystok, and Zielona Góra in Poland.  This refinancing, in an aggregate value of €153 million, is one of the largest financial transactions in the industrial real estate segment in Central Europe.

Three tenants – LPP, Investa and Centor – have decided to extend their leases in Segro Logistics Park Stryków near Łódź, in deals that together amount to almost 80,000 sqm.
