Budapest-based real estate developer TriGranit, in partnership with the DRFG Investment Group, has successfully acquired the Korzó Shopping Centre in Nyíregyháza, marking a significant expansion of its retail portfolio across CEE.
Located in the historical old town of Nyíregyháza, the asset stands as the largest shopping destination in both the city and the county of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. Originally opened in 2008 and managed by SES Spar European Shopping Centers since 2009, the downtown complex features approximately 18,000 sqm of gross leasable area . It maintains a highly diversified tenant mix of 55 stores.
According to the buyers, well-positioned regional shopping centres continue to serve as vital commercial and social anchors for local communities.
Moving forward, TriGranit and DRFG Investment Group plan to enhance the property's regional market position while continuing to scale their joint retail footprint throughout the broader CEE area.
