Mint Investments buys 35,000 sqm office park in Prague

RSJ plans new development project in Prague

The competition for the architectural design of the new building was won by Czech architect Eva Jiřičná, who lives in the UK. Panattoni builds another 8,700 sqm for InPost in Łódź

Panattoni has begun constructing 8,700 sqm for InPost within the Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. In 2021 alone, Panattoni completed logistics centres of nearly 100,000 sqm for InPost within eleven locations. Due to Panattoni’s completed projects both within city limits and on their borders, the end consumer receives quicker service including in small towns.

Panattoni completes 60,800 sqm BTS project in Silesia

Panattoni has announced the official opening of a new logistics centre for Action in Bieruń near Tychy. The 60,800 sqm facility has been built as a BTS project and in record time. The project has been BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level, obtaining the highest score so far at this level among Polish facilities in this category (77.1%). Ultimately, more than 200 people will be employed in the facility.

Demand for warehouses in the Czech Republic breaks records in 2021

Clients interested in new industrial premises in the Czech Republic had very little to choose from last year. Thanks to record demand, which reached a record 2.39 million sqm in gross terms for the whole year, vacancy rates fell to 1.63%, a historic low. The result was also affected by a lower volume of completed industrial properties, mainly due to the impact of anti-pandemic measures. However, this changed at the end of the year when a record 800,000 sqm of industrial space was under construction. The urgent need to meet tenants' enormous demand is also evidenced by the fact that the share of speculative development has once again increased after a longer period of inactivity, 108 Agency reported today.

Koh-i-Noor factory in Prague to be transformed into 550 flats

The Czech patent and pins factory owned by Koh-i-Noor Waldes is moving out of Prague after 120 years. Due to the merge with Massag factory the company is heading to Bílovec now. The current owner Pražská správa nemovitostí (PSN) plans to transform the historical factory buildings in the Prague Vršovice complex into a multifunctional project with 550 modern apartments and shops, e15.cz reports.

New leases

  • UDH, one of Poland’s largest distributors of premium imported beers, has leased approximately 1,400 sq m of modern warehouse and office space at the Park Rysy Kraków distribution centre. The tenant, which has chosen to expand its operations in southern Poland, was once again represented by AXI IMMO.
  • Golden Star Estate has secured a long-term lease agreement with global technology solutions and consulting provider C&F for nearly 1,900 sqm of office space at the Konstruktorska Business Center. Following the transaction, the property, located in Warsaw’s Mokotów business district, is now almost fully leased. The Polish branch of C&F will officially relocate to the facility at the beginning of 2027.
  • Natland Group has committed to its long-term presence at Prague-based Rohan Business Center through a lease extension covering 2,004 sqm of office space, together with storage facilities and dedicated parking spaces, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • Indotek Group has announced the appointment of Diederik Bakker as Group Chief Investment Officer and Group Head of Asset Management. In his new role, the Dutch real estate investment professional will gradually assume responsibility for the company's ITAM (investment, transaction, and asset management) activities across 12 European countries, supporting the next phase of Indotek Group’s growth. His focus includes facilitating sound investment decisions across Europe and developing a group-level portfolio management strategy that combines local market knowledge with international asset management know-how.
  • Peakside Capital Advisors has appointed Bogi Gabrovic to advise the board and support its investment and acquisition activities in Poland. Gabrovic brings more than 25 years of CEE real estate experience to the role, having previously held senior executive positions at CTP, Golub & Company, and White Star Real Estate, where she managed transactions exceeding €2 billion.
  • Katarína Brydone, Jana Vlková and Vendula Maršová have been appointed as the first Equity Partners of Colliers’ Czech business. Brydone brings more than 20 years of experience in international real estate. Vlková has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Maršová, Partner and Head of Valuation and Advisory Services, brings more than 16 years of experience in real estate valuation and advisory.
