CTP is expanding CTPark Prešov Juh in eastern Slovakia with two new halls with an area of 60,000 sqm.

The ribbon has been cut on the new Le Dôme winery in the historic Saint-Émilion village in Bordeaux, France's most famous wine region. Designed by British architectural studio Foster + Partners, the winery building’s project manager is JTRE.

CTP officially opened two more buildings in Brno for young local and expatriate professionals and young families. Both buildings can accommodate more than 200 individuals and are follow-ups to the successfully established Domeq I, which the company launched in Brno about four years ago. Due to their larger rooms, the two new buildings are designed to be more for individual residential living rather than co-living, as was the case for Domeq I.  CTP continued this residential project in response to the current high demand in the housing market that is not just seen in Brno, but the whole country.

ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, unveiled its plans for the previously announced ESET Campus – an innovation and technology hub based in its headquarters city, Bratislava, Slovakia. The 55,000 sqm campus designed by architectural studio BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group will house the company’s new headquarters and will become a centre of excellence, creating strong cybersecurity, AI and innovation ecosystem for Slovakia and Central Europe.

Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH has launched the development of 8,000 square metres in Garbe Green Park Piešťany. A new space comprising 3,000 square metres will be occupied by Inalfa, a designer, producer and supplier of roof solutions for the automotive industry. The remaining 5,000 square metres will be delivered speculatively and available for lease from May 2022.   

A 21,000 sqm logistics park is being built in Biatorbágy, near Budapest, along the M1 highway. The LogiCube Park, developed by Defactoring Zrt., will offer sustainable warehouses along with office space, primarily for small and medium-sized enterprises. The first phase of the project, which represents an investment of HUF 1 billion, will start in November this year and is expected to be handed over in the last quarter of 2022.

Panattoni has revitalised another brownfield site for investment group Accolade. They have returned industry to a location where it has historically thrived, the former Kavalier glassworks site in Hostomice, in the Teplice region. The first tenant of the new industrial zone named Panattoni Park Teplice South is the Czech sanitary equipment retailer Sanitino. It has started operating a distribution centre, which will gradually serve the whole of Europe. The transformation of a brownfield, with more than a century of glass history, into a modern zone for light manufacturing and distribution of goods, with an investment of more than half a billion, is therefore continuing successfully.

Phase 2 of Bucharest-based multi-family project Atria Urban Resort is already 75% pre-sold with completion of the project scheduled for 2024. Liria Themo, Marketing Manager at Atria Urban Resort talked to Property Forum about the importance of sustainability and flexibility in residential development and also shared the company’s future plans and her market expectations.

European Logistics Investment (ELI) has commenced constructing a logistics centre in Błonie near Warsaw. The Park Warsaw West X project by ELI and its partner Panattoni is planned as a multi-let facility offering nearly 49,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. The investment is planned to be delivered in Q2 2022.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many widespread changes in the booming Polish residential market. Demand for larger, greener apartments and the need to amend real estate law are only a few of them, said speakers during the discussion panel of Living Investment Forum 2021, Property Forum's annual event in Warsaw.
