Wing, one of Hungary's real estate development and investment companies, will restructure its management organisation, which includes a split of the Chairman and CEO roles starting April 1.
Noah Steinberg, who has held the dual position to date, will continue as Chairman, focusing on long-term strategic direction, while also retaining his role as Chairman and CEO of Wingholding, which encompasses the group's domestic and international interests. Going forward, Dr Katalin Walter will serve as CEO, responsible for overseeing operations in Hungary.
Steinberg stated: "Our growing international presence as well as the increasing complexity of our operations justify our diverse activities on the Hungarian real estate market being placed under the leadership of a dedicated executive."
Walter joins Wing with more than fifteen years of international consultancy and corporate management experience. She worked for 15 years at McKinsey and Company, one of the world's consultancy firms, in Frankfurt and Budapest. She also participated in the regional management and integration of several financial institutions, and most recently served as the CEO of the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK). "Wing has built solid foundations in Hungary and across the region over the past decades. As CEO, my goal is to build on these to further carry on and strengthen this success story, making our organisation more efficient and more agile while adapting to the changing market environment and enhancing our competitiveness," said the new CEO.
