Panattoni has launched its latest park in Poland’s Małopolska region. Panattoni Park Kraków East II will be situated on the eastern side of the Kraków conurbation, just off the Targowisko junction of the A4 motorway, and is to have an area of ​​almost 19,000 sqm. Panattoni’s presence in the region has since expanded to 4 existing projects with a total area of ​​100,000 sqm. As soon as late July or early August this year, the first tenant, Kenig Spedition, will be moving into 9,200 sqm of the complex, which will be used for logistics, service and production processes for its clients – manufacturers of pallets and packaging. The lease was mediated by consultancy Axi Immo.

Construction of the two facilities, totaling 58,000 sqm, in the 7R Park Szczecin complex has commenced. It's 7R’s third major project in this region. A modern A-class building for Hultafors Group, which will be the first automated warehouse to use the AutoStore system in Poland, will be completed this month. . Meanwhile, in the center of the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics warehouse is already operating.

CTP enters a strategic partnership with Poland-based MDC² to develop full-service business parks throughout Poland. Construction in the first three locations will start in Q1 2021 and CTP will invest €200 million during the first year of the project. 

Panattoni is again investing in Lower Silesia. The developer has purchased 39 ha in Wrocław where it is to build Wrocław Campus 39, a massive industrial and logistics complex of almost 200,000 sqm. The project, which is to have direct access to the A4 motorway and the S8 expressway, is being constructed close to the buildings of Amazon and LG Chem Wrocław Energy. It will be the ideal location for e-commerce companies as well as firms in the electric vehicle sector. Work is to start in Q1 of this year.  

European Logistics Investment (ELI) has delivered three new development projects. The three latest completed developments in Bielsko-Biała, Ruda Śląska and Toruń will add 145,000 sqm of modern multi-purpose logistics space to the CEE market. The parks are 100% leased.

Panattoni is preparing 36,500 sqm of warehouse space for Grupa Allegro – the largest online shopping platform in this part of Europe. The company is to move into A2 Warsaw Park, which is a huge development with one fully commercialised building of over 100,000 sqm. The new location will allow Allegro to develop its logistics platform to serve the companies that sell goods on its website and speed up the process of fulfilling orders. For this transaction, the tenant was represented by consultancy Colliers International.

Belgian company WDP, which is developing logistics and industrial spaces, has €116 million worth ongoing projects locally, according to data from the 2020 financial report. Last year, WDP finalised 223,000 sqm of logistics after an investment of €134 million.

Panattoni has developed a BTS manufacturing facility for Phoenix Contact E-Mobility in Rzeszów. Modern charging systems for electric vehicles will be manufactured and tested at the 15,000 sqm facility, and the production plant will supply them to global companies and operators of the electro-mobility equipment & infrastructure. The products of Phoenix Contact E-Mobility include cutting edge High Power Charging devices, designed for rapid and safe charging of electric cars. The newly completed plant will also include research and development department for new products and technologies.

AEW has acquired a newly developed city logistics asset in Warsaw, Poland. The asset was purchased from Panattoni in an off-market transaction on behalf of a separate account mandate for a German pension fund.

MLP Group has commenced a project to revitalise the first mid-urban business park in the city of Poznań. The largest of the seven renovated facilities has been leased by a distributor of household appliances and consumer electronics. The renovated facility, with a total area of 12,000 sqm, will be available for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2021.
