Panattoni has announced the construction of a new 12,000 sqm centre in Poznań. Panattoni has already built around 370,000 sqm for the City Logistics sector in 22 locations.

InPost and P3 have signed lease agreements for a total surface of over 43,000 sqm in P3 Piotrków Park, most of which, over 36,000 sqm, are new agreements. In addition, P3 has recently provided InPost with a dedicated city warehouse of nearly 8,300 sqm, located at ul. Faradaya in Warsaw.

A 1,500 sqm mixed-use real estate development is underway in the Sóskúti Ipark Park, located next to the M7 motorway in the Budapest area. 

Jürgen Winklbauer, Managing Director of Panattoni Austria talked to Property Forum about the current situation in the Austrian warehouse market, the plausible directions of its development and the growing importance of photovoltaics.

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions Poland has extended its lease agreement for a ​​40,000 sqm of space in Prologis Park Stryków for three more years. The BTS facility is tailored to help Arvato SCS provide customer services for the fashion industry. Colliers facilitated the transaction.

Hillwood Polska has started the construction of a new logistics centre in the Górna district of Łódź. The complex, which is scheduled to come into use in Q3 2023, will comprise more than 97,000 sqm of warehouse space.

Trigea nemovitostní fond acquired Panattoni Tricity North, an urban logistics park developed and managed by Panattoni. The asset was selected by Trigea for its first logistics investment in Poland. The parties agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.

Representatives from Panattoni and Media Expert, the owner of several hundred electronics stores in Poland, together with Hanna Zdanowska, the mayor of Łódź, on Friday - September 2nd - formally opened the latest section of the Media Expert logistics centre within the Central European Logistics Hub. Two buildings with an area of 160,000 sqm, one of which has just been handed over for use and the other to be completed within a year, have been connected to Media Expert’s pre-existing building to create a nationwide distribution complex. Together, the three buildings take up 232,000 sqm and are to provide employment for around 1,000 people. The total area leased by Media Expert from Panattoni across the Łódź region already comes to over 270 000 sqm with a further 35,000 sqm under construction.

Panattoni has started construction of Panattoni Park Nadarzyn II. The development is being built on a site of almost 20 ha and will take up almost 100,000 sqm.

The industrial and logistics market has not been directly influenced by the Ukrainian war, but inflation, rising interest rates and changes to our supplier-customer relationships are affecting it indirectly, says Accolade Group CEO Milan Kratina. Nevertheless, he thinks that there are still a lot of aspects which haven’t changed for a long time, such as the shortage of warehouse and manufacturing space or the ongoing trend of nearshoring. And all of this is raising the demand for a more self-sufficient Europe.
