MLP Group is starting speculative construction of around 75,000 sqm of space in total at its three logistics parks. The space will be delivered as soon as later this year and early next year. All the projects will be BREEAM certified.
GARBE Industrial Real Estate Czech Republic has commenced the development of 30,000 sqm at GARBE Park Chomutov. The structure will be built on the plot of a former construction company. GARBE demolished and revitalized the brownfield area and prepared it for the new construction of an industrial hall, which will be finished by the end of this year.
CTP has started the construction of its new warehouse of more than 30,000 sqm in the CTPark Tatabánya industrial park. The BREEAM-rated speculative development, which can be tailored to the needs of future tenants, will be delivered in 2022.
Hungarian state-owned NIPÜF Group commenced the construction of a 10,000 sqm warehouse in its Tatabánya industrial park. The developer signed a lease agreement for one third of the building, and the remaining space awaits prospective tenants. The facility is to be delivered in the first quarter of 2022.
Prologis has started a new speculative development at Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II which is set to be delivered by the end of the year. A new 11,600 sqm warehouse building is now under development at the park, where 48,000 sqm of potential development space remains available.
Hungarian property investor and developer Wing is expanding its East Gate Business Park, located next to Budapest, with a new 9,200 sqm hall. The handover of the building, which is 30% pre-leased, will take place in the second half of 2021.
Mountpark Logistics has started construction work on a 26,000 sqm inventory distribution centre at Mountpark Sered in Slovakia. The building, which has the potential to create over 300 jobs for local people, has been designed to achieve BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation and is on schedule to complete in the first quarter of 2021.
Prologis has started the development of a 21,000 square meter speculative facility at the fully occupied Prologis Park Prague-Uzice in the Czech Republic. The facility will be completed in Q2 2020 and it will offer flexible space solutions for all types of business – logistics/storage or production, with unit sizes starting at 4,500 square meters. It has further development potential for up to another 42,000 square meters.
One of the newest industrial parks in the portfolio of the developer and manager of industrial properties, P3 Logistic Parks, will launch an expansion this spring. Warehouse A will be enlarged from its present size of 30,000 sqm by an additional 60,000 sqm. The extra capacity will be available to prospective customers at the end of the year. It will be the largest building in P3’s portfolio in the Czech Republic.
Prologis announced that demand for space at its new Prologis Park Brno has prompted the construction of a second speculative facility at the Czech site.
Another brand from the CCC Group portfolio has joined the tenants of Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra. The new CCC store will occupy 725 sqm of space. Customers can also do their shopping at the new Rossmann drugstore (450 sqm).
The EPP-owned Galaxy shopping centre in Szczecin is strengthening its offer by developing its partnership with HalfPrice. The relaunched showroom now has a wider assortment and larger floor space - about 3,200 sqm.
Homepark Janki is expanding its offer with a new shop selling electric bikes by Engwe. The brand's first Polish showroom has taken up an area of 108 sqm.
New appointments
Karol Czupryński has joined the management board of Empik. He will take the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Czupryński has previously worked at Allegro, Procter & Gamble and Boston Consulting Group, among others.
Marcin Grabara officially takes over the reins at Rossmann SDP sp z.o.o. from 24 May. He will replace Marek Maruszak as president, who is retiring after 24 years with the company.
CPI Property Group, is expanding the Warsaw structures of its Leasing Office department. Maciej Skubiszewski has been named the new Senior Leasing Manager. he will be responsible for the implementation of the leasing strategy as well as the commercialization and re-commercialization of space in office buildings in CPIPG's portfolio - Central Tower, Concept Tower and Chałubińskiego 8 (CH8).
