Prologis announced that demand for space at its new Prologis Park Brno has prompted the construction of a second speculative facility at the Czech site.

Prologis has begun construction of two new speculative facilities totalling 25,300 square metres at Prologis Park Bratislava. The developments include the 9,800 sqm Building 14, in which 2,900 square metres have been pre-leased by Blitshtein Trading, a food distributor to major markets in Central and Eastern Europe and the 15,500 sqm Building 20.

Prologis has already fully leased its new 28,300 sqm speculative facility now under construction at Prologis Park Prague-Uzice in the Czech Republic. Construction of Building 3 began in January 2018 and was launched due to high demand for space at the fully occupied park.

Once the expansion is completed, the park will have a total lettable area of nearly 380,000 sqm. Scheduled to start in the second half of 2017, construction will be completed at the beginning of 2018.

Austrian and Romanian real estate developer Invest4SEE has announced the development of a 91,216 sqm warehouse in Dubnica nad Vahom, Slovakia. Invest4SEE Industrial Park Dubnica will spread over 20 hectares.
