Skanska launches perovskite solar cell application in Poland

Skanska’s commercial development business unit in Central Eastern Europe will be the first developer worldwide to cover office buildings with semi-transparent perovskite solar cells on a commercial scale. Saule Technologies will be the technology provider. The initial implementation tests are planned for 2018 in Poland.

Colliers appointed PM for Skanska’s Budapest project

Colliers REMS Hungary has been assigned by Skanska for the role of property manager for Mill Park Offices, from 2018. Mill Park is Skanska’s latest office project in Budapest, consisting of two buildings, Mill Park A and Mill Park B, with a total GLA of 36,000 sqm, divided over 7 floors and 538 parking places. Building B will be delivered in Q2 2018, while building A in Q3 2018.

MCAP Global Finance enters CEE with Budapest purchase

MCAP Global Finance, the London-based subsidiary of global investment manager Marathon Asset Management, has acquired the Népliget Center office building in Budapest on behalf of its funds and managed accounts. The transaction price has not been disclosed. The buyer was advised by Lodge & Partners, which will oversee the local asset management of the building.

Skanska invests €50 million in Warsaw office project

Skanska invests €50 million in the second phase of Generation Park, an office project located in Warsaw, Poland. The second building, with a total leasable area of about 18,300 square meters, will comprise 16 stories above ground and two stories of underground parking. The investment will also include four underground parking levels for the planned third building.

Skanska sells Poznań office building for €73 million

Skanska has sold phase I of Nowy Rynek, an office building within a mixed-use project in Poznań, Poland, for €73 million. The buyer is confidential. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Europe in the fourth quarter 2017. The transfer of the property is scheduled for the second quarter 2019.

Hansainvest acquires Warsaw office building from Skanska

Hansainvest Real Assets GmbH has acquired Generation Park X, the first building of Generation Park, a prime office project located in Warsaw, Poland. It is the investor’s second acquisition in Poland, as well as its second from Skanska. The transaction volume was around €83 million.

New leases

  • ATEM-Polska and a freight forwarding company in the road transportation industry have chosen Gdynia's 3T Office Park office building to locate their branches. They occupy the entire third floor in tower A with a total area of 1,245 sqm.
  • ArchiDoc, a company offering services in the areas of business process digitization BPO, document management and back-office services, has expanded its leased space in the Hillwood Janki Sokołów warehouse centre by 2.9 thousand square meters to 12.6 thousand square meters.
  • Clothing brand Naree is opening its store in Bonarka shopping centre. This is the second store of the Polish brand in Kraków. It occupies an area of 127 sqm.

  • Anna Staniszewska has taken the position of Associate Director in the strategic consulting team at CBRE. She has many years of experience in real estate development consulting and analysis of all sectors of the property market in Poland.
  • The Management Board of Answear.com notified that on July 16, 2024, the Supervisory Board elected Wojciech Chabasiewicz as chairman and Arkadiusz Bajołek as vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board.
  • The Board of Directors of Unibep S.A. announced that on July 17, 2024, the company's Supervisory Board passed a resolution to appoint Marcin Hutyra as vice chairman of the company's Management Board for the current seventh joint term, effective July 18, 2024.
