BO! holding buys 100% stake in real estate agency RK Sting

BO! holding, a group of companies focusing on real estate, investment and development activities, has agreed with Martin Zaremba, the owner of Sting Real Estate Agency and Sting Finance, to purchase 100% of RK Sting and Sting Finance shares. This will create one of the largest real estate agencies in the Czech market. The price of the transaction was not disclosed.

Meta Estate Trust invests in Redport Capital

Synapsis prepares two real estate projects in Bratislava

Synapsis Property Ventures, a boutique investment company that makes private investments in development projects in Slovakia, bought two real estate projects in Bratislava last year. They are Hotel Campus near Železná studienky and Knižkova family houses in the Rača district. The current total amount of the company's private equity investments is approximately €12 million, Synapsis announced.

Czech investment volume declines in H1 2023

The volume of investment in the regional real estate market during H1 2023 was one of the lowest in Central & Eastern Europe. Poland accounted for most of the regional transaction volume at 42%, followed by the Czech Republic with 34%. Total transactions in the Czech Republic in H1 amounted to approximately €692 million, a 42% year-on-year decline and a 9% decrease compared to the same period in 2021. The retail sector saw growing demand, accounting for approximately 61% of transactions. In Q2 of this year, the volume of transactions in the Czech Republic reached €298 million, down 27% compared to the previous quarter, reports Colliers in the survey.

Czech real estate fund Investika buys offices in Warsaw

Czech real estate fund Investika's latest acquisition is the Royal Trakt Offices building in Warsaw. The roughly 150-year-old property in the centre of the capital city was bought by the fund from global real estate investor Patrizia SE. The acquisition was announced to Property Forum by Linklaters, the law firm that advised the real estate fund Investika during the acquisition. No further details of the transaction have been disclosed yet.

New leases

  • HS Hydro & Spa has leased space at Logicor Bucharest III Pallady, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.
  • Piața 9 will open its first Bakery P9 location in Bucharest, on a 200 sqm area located on the ground floor of Victoria Center office building. The deal was brokered by Colliers.
  • A new KIKO MILANO store has opened at the Nový Smíchov shopping centre in Prague, as part of a lease transaction brokered by Cushman & Wakefield.

New appointments

  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
