Dentons has appointed Amsterdam-based partner Dirk-Jan Gondrie as Europe Head of Real Estate for the term ending December 2027. In his new role, he is going to be responsible for the strategy and leadership of the Real Estate practice across Europe.
In addition to his new European role, Dirk-Jan Gondrie leads the Real Estate practice in the Netherlands. He has 18 years of experience advising leading international and Dutch institutional investors and developers on logistics, data centre, residential, office, retail, and hotel projects.
He has extensive experience with domestic and cross-border real estate transactions involving single assets as well as portfolios. His practice also encompasses property development, leasing, asset management, and real estate-related restructuring. In addition to his legal work, he is a lecturer at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate (ASRE).
Dirk-Jan Gondrie commented on his appointment, saying that it was a privilege to work alongside more than 50 talented real estate partners with deep expertise and market insight.
