Prologis announced its full-year 2017 activity for its business in Central and Eastern Europe. Last year the developer reached a record-breaking occupancy of 97.4 percent, leased of 1.6 million of space, delivered 15 buildings and launched 9 new developments.

Prologis has signed four lease agreements totalling 62,700 square metres at its parks in Chorzów and Dąbrowa Górnicza, bringing its Silesian portfolio to 98 percent occupied.

Prologis has launched a car sharing service that is available to employees free of charge in four Prologis parks (Budapest M1, Sziget, Harbor és Gyál) in the vicinity of Budapest. 

Prologis has begun construction of a new 28,300 square metre speculative facility at Prologis Park Prague-Uzice in the Czech Republic. It will be the third building at fully occupied park and is scheduled to be completed by mid-2018.

Prologis announced a successful pilot with Platio, a Hungarian start-up that provides aesthetic and space-saving renewable energy systems by integrating high-performance solar cells into sidewalk paving elements made of recycled plastic. Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor has become the first logistics park in the world to integrate this green technology into its daily operations.

Prologis announced fourth quarter and full year 2017 activity in Europe. During the past year Prologis started 40 developments, totalling 917,500 square metres.

Prologis has signed a new lease agreement with ESA Group for 10,740 square metres at Prologis Park Prague-Uzice in the Czech Republic. ESA Group, one of the leading logistics companies in Central Europe, will lease Building 2, making the 97,800-square metre Prologis Park Prague-Uzice fully occupied. The company is an existing customer of Prologis at Prologis Park Prague D1 East, southeast of Prague. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction.

Prologis announced the completion of an 18,100 square metre build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Arvato Polska at Prologis Park Stryków.

Prologis has started construction of two logistics facilities at its new Prologis Park Nitra in Slovakia. The expected completion of both buildings is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018.
