Prologis announced several promotions at its Czech and Slovak offices. Martin Baláž has been promoted to Vice President of Development and Leasing at Prologis Czech Republic and Slovakia; Václav Krasanovský has been promoted to Vice President of Property Management at Prologis Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary; Martin Stratov moves up to the position of Director of Development and Leasing at Prologis Slovakia. The promotion of Kateřina Březinová to Leasing Manager at Prologis Czech Republic completes this promotion round.


Martin Baláž has been promoted to Vice President of Development and Leasing at Prologis Czech Republic and Slovakia. He will oversee and manage the leasing and development activities in both countries and lead the company's investment projects and leasing activity at its distribution parks. Martin joined Prologis in 2014 and until recently was working as the company’s Director of Leasing and Development for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Prior to that, Martin was an associate partner at Cushman & Wakefield. He has an MBA in construction and real estate from the College of Estate Management in Reading, UK.
 
Václav Krasanovský has been promoted to Vice President of Property Management at Prologis Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He is responsible for leading the local Property Management teams and the implementation of operational standards and innovations. He was previously director, property management, Prologis Czech Republic and Slovakia. Before joining Prologis in 2007, Václav worked for King Sturge as Senior Property Manager.
 
Martin Stratov moves up to the position of Director of Development and Leasing at Prologis Slovakia, where he will continue managing the company's investment projects and leasing activity at its existing parks in Slovakia. He reports to Martin Baláž. Prior to joining Prologis in 2016, Martin spent five years as Head of Industrial Agency and as Associate Director at JLL Slovakia.
 
The promotion of Kateřina Březinová to Leasing Manager at Prologis Czech Republic completes this promotion round. She will continue supporting leasing activity at the existing parks of Prologis in the Czech Republic, cooperating with brokers and customers directly. Kateřina joined Prologis in 2016 as leasing assistant. This year she will graduate her studies at the University of Economics, Prague, with a Master’s degree in Economic Policy.
 
“These promotions recognize the fine work by our Czech and Slovak teams, who helped ensure that 2017 was another great year for Prologis in Central Europe,” says Martin Polák, Senior Vice President, Regional Head for Central & Eastern Europe.

  • Golden Star Estate has secured lease agreements totalling around 2,400 sqm at Warsaw-based Oxygen Park. Puerta has joined as the operator of the SZAWA conference centre, occupying over 650 sqm of training and event space. Additionally, fish product manufacturer Vicziunai-Pol Spółka leased nearly 140 sqm. Existing tenants Parker Hannifin, Diasorin Poland, and Nieruchomości Plus all extended their stays, maintaining a combined footprint of over 1,550 sqm.
  • BearingPoint has relocated its Bucharest office to Vastint’s Timpuri Noi Square, in a deal brokered by Griffes.
  • Lagardère Travel Retail has renewed its 2,300 sqm office lease for its HQ at the Bucharest-based Globalworth Campus, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

New appointments

  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.
  • Michał Kochanowski-Laren has joined Avison Young Poland’s Technical Advisory and Project Management team as Project Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for delivering a variety of consultancy projects across all segments of the commercial real estate market in Poland. Kochanowski-Laren is an electrical engineer and a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.
  • Colliers Hungary has appointed Balint Laszlo as Director and Head of Design & Build. Laszlo brings over a decade of expertise in technical project management and fit-out execution, with a specific focus on the office and industrial sectors. He previously served as Head of Fit Out at Futureal Group, where he managed project execution, technical delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. His professional background also includes site management and commercial leadership roles.
