Prologis set to start new speculative development in Hungary

Prologis announced that it has begun development of a 21,000 square metre speculative facility at Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget. This will be the first speculative logistics building in the Hungarian market since 2008. Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016.

Prologis completes expansion for Pepco

Prologis has announced that it has completed a 30,000 square metre expansion of a distribution facility in Rawa Mazowiecka – located in Central Poland – for Pepco, a leading clothing and houseware retailer. Construction ended three weeks ahead of schedule. Once operational, the facility will serve as Pepco’s Central European distribution hub.

Treevi Pizza Al Taglio is expanding, through a franchise, to Timișoara with its first location in Iulius Town Mall. Already present in Bucharest, Cluj, Constanța, and Iași, Treevi Pizza Al Taglio, owned by Tomcat Hospitality, now features over 40 locations nationwide.
aSpace is opening a new location, spanning nearly 1,000 sqm, in the Victoriei 222 building in Bucharest, thereby becoming the first coworking destination on Calea Victoriei.
Buchareast-based office project Floreasca Park has reached over 80% occupancy, following over 4,400 sqm of recent leasing activity. Leroy Merlin has leased 3,900 sqm, while IGEL Technology is occupying 515 sqm.

New appointments

Ewa Nowak, a commercial property valuer, has joined the Valuation Department of international real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska as Senior Associate.
Maciej Wieczorkiewicz is joining the Avison Young Technical Advisory team in Poland. Maciej is an experienced engineer with many years of experience in managing fit-out projects and investments in the commercial property sector. During his career development, he has worked for companies such as Made In Terior, TECAS Fitout and Colliers Define.
Tomáš Fabian has taken on the responsibility of leading the Czech commercial development team at Skanska as Executive Vice President Operations Czech Republic, while still keeping the current responsibilities as Executive Vice President Legal Counsel (CEE).
