Prologis announced the sale of Prologis Park Hegyeshalom in Hungary to Horvath Rudolf Intertransport Ltd, a Hungarian logistics services provider. The transaction includes a fully leased Class A logistics facility totalling 32,300 square metres and 24 hectares of land. Noerr and JLL represented Prologis while Deloitte advised Horvath Rudolf.

Prologis Park Hegyeshalom is the first Class A logistics park in the North-western area of Hungary, in “the magic triangle” that comprises the Hungarian, Austrian and Slovak borders. The park has easy motorway access to Bratislava (M15), Vienna and Budapest (M1).

“Our strategy is to focus on high-barrier markets that show strong demand amid low vacancy,” said László Kemenes, Senior Vice President and Country Manager at Prologis Hungary. “In line with this principle, we will continue to focus on core locations in the greater Budapest area.”

A team of Noerr lawyers advised Prologis throughout the transaction. Noerr has provided full-scale legal advisory services. Zoltán Nádasdy, Head of Noerr’s Budapest Office, who also leads Noerr’s regional real estate practice, commented: “We are proud to have successfully advised Prologis. The transaction demonstrated the continued dynamics of a sector playing a major part in driving the economy in Hungary.” Szilvia Andriska (Senior Associate) and Eszter Hegedűs (Associate) also assisted the seller.
