P3 has acquired three attractive plots with a total surface area of 32 ha at the end of last year. They are all located within the administrative boundaries of large cities like Łódź, Wrocław, and Bydgoszcz.

Strabag Real Estate has acquired the defunct Galeria Plaza shopping centre in Kraków and the 8 ha plot it stands on from Peakside Capital Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

Cain International, the privately held investment firm operating in the United States and Europe, and its local development partner, White Star Real Estate, have secured a €36 million financing facility from PKO BP, for the delivery of The Park Kraków office complex.

Avison Young has advised M7 Real Estate in the disposal of the Mokotow Plaza office building in Warsaw. The buyer is Vienna-based investor FLE GmbH, entering Warsaw office market with this purchase.

Last year, Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych, supervised by Logicenters, signed lease agreements for nearly 15,000 sqm, which accounts for approx. 25% of the offered finished warehouse space. Panattoni has begun the construction of a 42,000 sqm logistics centre for Rohlig Suus Logistics at Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate I in Tarnowo Podgórne. At the same time, work has started on a speculative facility with an area of ​​18,000 sqm, which is intended for a variety of tenants.

Despite the pandemic triumph of e-commerce, customers are not giving up on shopping in brick-and-mortar shops. Brands wanting to benefit from the synergy of these channels implement innovative formats and compete for customers' attention with technology and environmentally friendly products. However, retail parks and convenience centres continue to enjoy popularity among investors and developers, says JLL.
