Panattoni to develop 50,000 sqm BTS for Carrefour in Będzin

Panattoni has started its third BTS project for French supermarket chain Carrefour. The investment, which has an area of ​​50,000 sqm, is under development in Będzin in Silesia. The height of the facility will reach as much as 13 m, while more than 13,000 sqm is to be used as a technologically-advanced cold store. The project is to be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification standards, while the developer will also create more than 5,000 sqm of green roofs.

Panattoni takes on fifth development for K-Flex in Uniejów

Panattoni is extending a production campus for K-Flex in Uniejów. After having developed almost 60,000 sqm in four buildings, the developer is now to deliver a further 6,500 sqm. The leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials will already be using a 15 m high storage facility in March 2022. This will allow K-Flex to service the growing needs of its construction clients from Europe, Asia and the USA. Both companies are now planning further stages to the extension of the complex in Uniejów.

LPP to take up 69,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Rzeszów North

Panattoni is to provide 133,000 sqm for LPP, the biggest fashion group in the CEE region. As much as 69,000 sqm of this will be built in Panattoni Park Rzeszów North, the construction of which is to complete at the end of Q3 2022. The new investment will be capable of processing up to 100,000 orders per day and storing more than 7 million assorted items. It will support online sales in markets such as Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. Panattoni Park Rzeszów North will eventually comprise two buildings with a total area of 83,500 sqm.

New leases

  • Astellas Pharma has renegotiated its lease for offices at One Floreasca Bucharest in a deal brokered by Fortim Trusted Advisors, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
  • Czech furniture industry supplier Hranipex, a provider of edge banding, adhesives, cleaning products, and accessories, has leased nearly 3,000 sqm of warehouse space at CTPark Bucharest South. The company has relocated its operations to the new facility and is currently fully operational within the park.
  • Oracle has renewed its lease for 600 sqm of office space in Belgrade, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
