Panattoni has secured another major lease for its new project, Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII. LX Pantos, one of the largest logistics operators in Korea and Southeast Asia, will occupy as much as 43,500 sqm in the new park – more than three times as much as it originally planned.

Panattoni is creating an alternative warehousing location to Łódź in Central Poland with the development of Panattoni Park Koluszki. The park is around 30 km from the administrative capital of the region and will eventually comprise around 40,000 sqm. Already around 60% of the space has been leased. The first tenant is cat and dog food producer PetRepublic, which moved into an area of 12,000 sqm in November this year. In the third quarter of 2022, Panattoni is to hand over around 13,400 sqm to automotive companies.

Autodoc, an online retailer for vehicle parts and accessories, has chosen Panattoni Park Cheb South, which is being built jointly by developer Panattoni for investment group Accolade, for its expansion into the Czech market. The 31,500 sqm automated distribution centre expand on a building which was the first project in the Czech Republic to be awarded an ‘Outstanding’ sustainability rating and a record score of 90.68% according to the BREEAM global sustainability certification.

Panattoni Europe laid the cornerstone for the construction of a 35,000 sqm facility for FM Logistic at Panattoni Park Głogów. From these premises, the tenant will service B2C e-commerce for a leading pet store chain owned by Fressnapf Group, which operates in Poland under the international brand Maxi Zoo, carrying out orders for individual clients from Poland and Germany. Panattoni Park Głogów, which will eventually cover 20 ha, is to offer 110,000 sqm under one roof. The investment is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level.

Panattoni is further developing the warehouse stock of Lower Silesia. Panattoni Park Wrocław XIII is under development next to a junction of the A4 motorway in the village of Pietrzykowice just outside Wrocław and will eventually have an area of 75,000 sqm. Logistics operator Chomar has just leased 15,000 sqm in the park. 

Panattoni has begun construction of a BTS centre for Solaris Bus & Coach. It is to be a warehouse with an area of over 10,000 sqm in Bolechowo near Poznań – just 150 m from the company’s current factory. The buildings will be connected by road and will share utilities. The Solaris BTS centre is to be completed at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of 2022. 

Panattoni has revitalised another brownfield site for investment group Accolade. They have returned industry to a location where it has historically thrived, the former Kavalier glassworks site in Hostomice, in the Teplice region. The first tenant of the new industrial zone named Panattoni Park Teplice South is the Czech sanitary equipment retailer Sanitino. It has started operating a distribution centre, which will gradually serve the whole of Europe. The transformation of a brownfield, with more than a century of glass history, into a modern zone for light manufacturing and distribution of goods, with an investment of more than half a billion, is therefore continuing successfully.

European Logistics Investment (ELI) has commenced constructing a logistics centre in Błonie near Warsaw. The Park Warsaw West X project by ELI and its partner Panattoni is planned as a multi-let facility offering nearly 49,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. The investment is planned to be delivered in Q2 2022.

Panattoni has sold two logistics facilities in western Poland for an undisclosed sum to the Hansa Europe Logistic Fund (HELF), which is managed by German real estate investor Hansainvest Real Assets. 

Panattoni is completing another development for the automotive industry in Bielsko-Biała. As part of Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV, the developer is to deliver a BTS production centre with an area of 33,200 sqm to the Italian-based Cornaglia Group – a producer of components for the automotive industry, as well as construction and farm equipment and other machinery. The building is to be completed in January 2022.
