Panattoni starts construction of 111,000 sqm in Głogów

Panattoni has unveiled its latest location in Lower Silesia – by starting work on the construction of Panattoni Park Głogów, which will ultimately cover more than 20 ha with 111,000 sqm of built-up space. The project, which is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level, has been designed to allow tenants to significantly reduce their CO2 emissions and energy consumption. The first tenant of the park is to be international logistics operator FM Logistic, which will occupy almost 35,000 sqm and is going to start operations in May 2022.

Panattoni partners with AliExpress for first CEE fulfilment centre

Panattoni has been chosen by Alibaba's logistic arm Cainiao to support AliExpress, the global online marketplace part of Alibaba Group, visited by hundreds of millions of shoppers each month. Its warehouse of over 10,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Łódź West will be devoted to servicing AliExpress sellers. The facility will serve as a fulfilment centre for AliExpress merchants shipping products directly from Poland and is the first major investment in fulfilment infrastructure made to support AliExpress merchants serving the Central & Eastern European Region. The centre will also play a strategic role in the company’s deliveries to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Austria.

Panattoni gets BTS project in Świebodzin certified

Panattoni has been awarded a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ for the second time. A recently completed BTS development in Świebodzin with an area of 200,000 sqm has successfully undergone environmental certification. In three categories, the project achieved a rating of 'Outstanding'. Among other things, the developer conducted a thorough life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis that covered a 60-year period and installed 3,873 solar panels as well as an intelligent building management system (BMS) and water-saving systems cutting usage by almost 55%. The building has four levels where 30 million separate goods can be stored and is served by 3,000 transport robots.

All new Panattoni investments to be BREAAM "Excellent" certified

Panattoni has become the first developer in the sector to introduce BREEAM certification at the ‘Excellent’ level as the standard for all its new facilities. To date, Panattoni has built 5,7 million sqm of space that has qualified for green certificates and tops the rankings for sustainable industrial construction. This includes the first BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certificate in the Polish industrial sector – for Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I – to add to having developed the most sustainable industrial building in Europe: Panattoni Park Cheb in the Czech Republic, which has an ‘Outstanding’ rating.

Accolade and Panattoni to build robotics centre for Amazon

Panattoni will construct a robotic fulfilment centre for Amazon on a brownfield site, formerly used for a sugar factory settling tanks, near Kojetín in the Přerov region. It will be the first fully-fledged multi-storey logistics building with state-of-the-art technological equipment in the Czech Republic. The zone was developed by the Accolade Group, which is also the investor and owner of the industrial park.

Panattoni leases 38,000 sqm to two companies in Tychy

Panattoni is expanding Panattoni Park Tychy and is to lease out over 38,000 sqm to two tenants. The first is Tiberina Group subsidiary U-Form, a leading supplier of components for the automotive sector in the EMEA region. The company was represented by Cresa Polska. The other is Nodium Group – the owner of two online platforms – sport-shop.pl and nodik.pl. The company is to consolidate its operations by occupying more warehousing space than it already leases.

New leases

  • EPP's Outlet Park Szczecin, the only outlet centre in Western Pomerania, is strengthening its fashion offerings by signing agreements with three brands previously unavailable in the region. JACK & JONES and Evenemen, with their men's fashion collections, and the premium optician OUTLY, have already opened their stores. eobuwie will also join the tenant roster this fall. VENEZIA, TATUUM, WITTCHEN, and Pako Lorente are also continuing their partnerships with the centre, significantly expanding their stores, while Lee Wrangler and German Optiker are moving to new locations. The new agreements and extensions cover a total area of nearly 1,800 square meters.
  • mFinanse S.A. has extended its current lease at the LIFE_Building in Warsaw and expanded its office space. As of July this year, the mBank Group company will occupy a total of 350 sqm in the building owned by VIG Fund. During the transaction, VIG Fund was represented by JLL, the exclusive leasing agent for LIFE_Building, while Deloitte Legal provided legal advisory services.
  • Stay Fit Gym, the largest fitness chain in Romania and Eastern Europe, is launching a new premium concept for those seeking high-end facilities. The brand is debuting its first "Black" type centre in the Palas Iași mixed-use complex, owned by Iulius.

New appointments

  • Avison Young's Valuation and Advisory team in Poland has welcomed a new member, Michał Marynowski, who takes the role of Assistant Valuer. Among other experiences, he worked at the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, where he was responsible for verifying execution documentation for selected investments, updating data in the premises database for court buildings, and analysing tender bids. Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and Revit, he also has strong skills in interpreting planning documents.
  • Golden Star Group, an international investment firm operating in the real estate sector, has announced the promotion of two key specialists within its Polish team. Paweł Moczybroda has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, while Ewa Dragunajtys has been promoted to Head of Asset Management.
  • Tomasz Chojnacki, a commercial property expert with nearly 20 years’ experience, has joined international real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska as Regional Director for Southern Poland in its Office Department, with effect from 1 August. His key responsibilities include representing office tenants during relocations and lease renegotiations.
