Panattoni Park Košice Aiport has expanded by a second hall. The first tenants have already taken over the area of around 6,300 sqm. The nearly 20,000 sqm hall was built by developer Panattoni in cooperation with investor Accolade. Erik Ivaničko, Panattoni's director for Slovakia, told the TASR news agency that the investment in the construction of the new hall is about € 17 million.

Panattoni will develop a third building for Media Expert within the Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. At the end of January this year, the owner of the store chain was granted early access to the 80,000 sqm centre, which is to be combined with two other existing buildings to form a national distribution complex for Media Expert. All three buildings have a combined area of 233,000 sqm. As well as these buildings in the administrative capital of the region, the chain has also leased 23,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Stryków III.

Panattoni has started an 87,300 sqm BTS facility in Stargard in north-western Poland. The facility will be used by TEDi, a  German retail chain, which has over 2,500 stores in Europe. The project, which should be completed in October this year, will support the further development of TEDi in the country, where the company doubled the number of its outlets in 2021.

Panattoni revealed that in 2021 there was a huge increase in the space it leased on the Polish market. Over the year, the developer signed approx. 300 lease agreements for more than 3.2 million sqm of space – 1 million sqm more than the previous year. Panattoni’s facilities were chosen by such companies as Zalando, LPP, Media Expert, Carrefour, DHL, DB Schenker, InPost, Solaris and Action. In total, the developer completed 1.85 million sqm of BREEAM certified space last year, while another 2.8 million sqm is under construction.

Panattoni has begun the construction of a 42,000 sqm logistics centre for Rohlig Suus Logistics at Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate I in Tarnowo Podgórne. At the same time, work has started on a speculative facility with an area of ​​18,000 sqm, which is intended for a variety of tenants. 

Panattoni has started its third BTS project for French supermarket chain Carrefour. The investment, which has an area of ​​50,000 sqm, is under development in Będzin in Silesia. The height of the facility will reach as much as 13 m, while more than 13,000 sqm is to be used as a technologically-advanced cold store. The project is to be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification standards, while the developer will also create more than 5,000 sqm of green roofs.  

Panattoni is to provide 133,000 sqm for LPP, the biggest fashion group in the CEE region. As much as 69,000 sqm of this will be built in Panattoni Park Rzeszów North, the construction of which is to complete at the end of Q3 2022. The new investment will be capable of processing up to 100,000 orders per day and storing more than 7 million assorted items. It will support online sales in markets such as Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. Panattoni Park Rzeszów North will eventually comprise two buildings with a total area of 83,500 sqm. 

The Polish branch of BNP Paribas Real Estate represented one of the Asian clients of the BNP Group in the acquisition process of a distribution centre in Świebodzin In Western Poland, which was developed by Panattoni. The Korean fund became the new owner. The property with a GLA of 190,000 sqm is fully leased to Amazon, one of the largest e-commerce providers in the world.

MVGM has been appointed by Hansainvest Real Assets to manage 44,000 sqm of space in two logistics centres: Panattoni Park City Logistics II Wrocław and Panattoni Park Poznań X.

ČS NEMOVITOSTNÍ FOND, managed by REICO investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s., is expanding its portfolio with the addition of the second phase of the Panattoni Park Tychy located between the Polish cities of Tychy and Bieruň, Poland. The total number of properties in the fund’s portfolio thus increased to 20, with the share of industrial properties in the fund’s portfolio reaching approximately 14%.
