GTC has expanded its portfolio of green projects. The Matrix A and Matrix B office buildings in Zagreb have both been granted LEED Platinum certifications. Thus, 80% of all GTC’s office properties now bear an eco-friendly label. 

United Business Center 3 in Timișoara has become the only LEED ‘Platinum’ certified office building in Romania outside Bucharest and the third one in the country.

The Downtown One project has been awarded a LEED Precertification on the Gold level. It is the first building in Albania to be LEED precertified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The precertification process was advised by Colliers International Albania and the Colliers International Poland Green Building Advisor Team lead by Andrzej Gutowski.

GTC has just obtained a building permit for a new office project in Katowice. Once finished, the Class A building will offer 18,315 sqm of state-of-the-art office space over 5 floors in the heart of Katowice. The building, inspired by Katowice’s modernist architecture, is designed by JEMS Architects.

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) awarded United Business Center 5 (UBC 5), a Class A office building and part of the office component of Palas Iași mixed-use project, the LEED Gold certification in line with the LEED 2009 international standard for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance.

United Business Center 2 (UBC 2) in Timișoara was awarded a LEED Gold certification. UBC 2 adds up to 18,000 sqm leasable area and was opened in early 2017. The building is a part of the Openville Timișoara mixed-use project currently developed by Iulius and Atterbury Europe in the vicinity of Iulius Mall.

GTC’s latest development, GTC White House has achieved the highest, Platinum certification level under the LEED for Building Design and Construction rating scheme. As of today, this is the second office building which was awarded with this certification in Budapest. The certification process was advised by Colliers International Hungary’s Green Building Advisory Team.

Vastint Romania was awarded LEED Platinum certification for the first two office buildings of Timpuri Noi Square. The 32,000 sqm office space in the two buildings will soon be completely leased.

Although offices still comprise the majority of certified green buildings in Hungary, other types of properties are increasingly being certified, according to Colliers International’s latest green building market report.

The Platinium 3 office building, managed by Allianz Real Estate, has received a LEED Gold certificate, confirming comfortable working conditions and energy efficiency. The certification process was conducted by Colliers International.
