Vastint Romania was awarded LEED Platinum certification for the first two office buildings of Timpuri Noi Square. The 32,000 sqm office space in the two buildings will soon be completely leased.

Although offices still comprise the majority of certified green buildings in Hungary, other types of properties are increasingly being certified, according to Colliers International’s latest green building market report.

The Platinium 3 office building, managed by Allianz Real Estate, has received a LEED Gold certificate, confirming comfortable working conditions and energy efficiency. The certification process was conducted by Colliers International.

The Nowy Świat 2.0 office building in Warsaw has been recognized with an LEED Gold ecological certificate. Experts from JLL supported investor Centrum Bankowo-Finansowe “Nowy Świat” S.A. in obtaining the certificate.

The AFI Ploiesti shopping center, owned by AFI Europe Romania, received the LEED Gold Certification. AFI Ploiesti thus becomes the only building in town to achieve the LEED Certification.

AFI Tech Park, the newest office project developed by AFI Romania, achieved a LEED Platinum pre-certification. AFI Tech Park is a business campus that will offer 56,000 sqm GLA of Class A office space, comprising of two office buildings of GF+8 and one office tower (GF+14). 

PZU’s office building in Wrocław – Komandorska 12 – has been recognized with an LEED Gold certificate. The building includes systems that control water, heat and energy consumption. Furthermore, its architecture ensures access to natural daylight on 80% of floor space. 

Vastint Poland was awarded LEED-Platinum for the first phase of Business Garden Wrocław. Once completed, the complex will comprise nine office and retail buildings with a total leasable area of 117,000 sqm.  

Obtaining a green certificate for modern office buildings has become a must in recent years. Still, developers, operators and tenants don’t fully realise what does a certification actually stand for and what kind of effect green solutions actually have on operating costs and productivity. The latest Green Talk, co-organised by RICS and HuGBC, focused on green buildings in Hungary. 

The Dominikański office building, developed in Wrocław by Skanska Property Poland, has been recognized with LEED certification's highest level - Platinum. This is the second office complex in Lower Silesia's capital to “go platinum” in compliance with the most demanding office certification system in Poland. The first complex - Green Towers – was also developed by Skanska. The certification process for Dominikański was supported by Go4Energy. The building is owned by a fund managed by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH based in Hamburg.
