CTP, the biggest owner of industrial and logistics spaces in Romania, says it has signed a lease deal with beverage maker Tuborg Romania. 

Cushman & Wakefield has closed its largest-ever lease transaction on the Budapest industrial market, with Boxy Logisztika Zrt. signing a lease for 62,000 sqm in VGP’s Aerozone Park, according to the company's LinkedIn page.

Since the start of 2021, around 189,000 sqm of offices were leased on the Bucharest market, of which 70% were for spaces in buildings with green certifications, according to real estate consultancy CBRE Romania. 

CA Immo records strong tenant demand for its Prague office buildings. With two new leases signed in the newly built Mississippi House and Missouri Park office buildings in the River City Prague campus, only 40% of the office space in these buildings remains available – and letters of intent have been signed with three additional tenants who will potentially lease another 30% of the total office space.

The Industrial Agency of Colliers Czech Republic received an exclusive mandate from Prologis to find a suitable tenant for the industrial premises in Rudná near Prague. There are currently only eight vacant industrial spaces available ready for immediate occupancy within the area of Greater Prague.

The first big tenant has moved into the first completed unit of the HelloParks industrial and logistics megapark located in Maglód, next to Budapest. FoxPost, the operator of the largest parcel locker chain of Hungary, has leased an area of 8,400 sqm and already started the installation of its new parcel sorting machines. With this investment of €1.5 million, FoxPost’s daily parcel sorting capacity will be increased by nearly tenfold.

The office leasing market in Bucharest is gradually recovering and there were deals worth 70,000 sqm that were closed in the second quarter, according to an analysis by real estate consultancy Griffes. 

JLL was appointed an exclusive leasing agent for the Focus office building in Warsaw.

Ecologistics, a 3PL company operating in the Czech Republic since 2017, has been expanding recently on the Czech property market, leasing in total 63,300 sqm of Class A commercial space in 4 industrial parks in Prague-West and in Pilsen-Stenovice from Prologis, GLP and Logicor. Ecologistics serves global e-commerce companies whose goods have been delivering to customers in the Czech and Slovak Republics as well as in Germany. The distribution centre in the Czech Republic was the second logistic hub Ecologistics opened in Europe after having entered the UK market. The firm has so far built a robust logistic framework across Western Europe, currently leasing premium logistics space also in Germany, France, Spain and Italy.  

Lease transactions in Q2 2021 on Bratislava’s office market reached 37,000 sqm, representing a 19% increase year-on-year. Bratislava Research Forum announced the office market figures for Q2 2021.
