Ecologistics, a 3PL company operating in the Czech Republic since 2017, has been expanding recently on the Czech property market, leasing in total 63,300 sqm of Class A commercial space in 4 industrial parks in Prague-West and in Pilsen-Stenovice from Prologis, GLP and Logicor. Ecologistics serves global e-commerce companies whose goods have been delivering to customers in the Czech and Slovak Republics as well as in Germany. The distribution centre in the Czech Republic was the second logistic hub Ecologistics opened in Europe after having entered the UK market. The firm has so far built a robust logistic framework across Western Europe, currently leasing premium logistics space also in Germany, France, Spain and Italy.  

Lease transactions in Q2 2021 on Bratislava’s office market reached 37,000 sqm, representing a 19% increase year-on-year. Bratislava Research Forum announced the office market figures for Q2 2021.

Gross take-up on the Prague office market in Q2 2021 amounted to 89,300 sqm, representing a 5% decrease on the previous quarter but a 10% increase in a year-on-year comparison. The Prague Research Forum has published the office market figures for the past quarter.

Warsaw’s Municipal Office has leased 12,000 square metres in the recently completed Widok Towers in Warsaw. The Technical City Hall will occupy ten of the total of 28 stories in the future. The high-rise complex, which was developed by Austria’s S+B Gruppe, has been owned by the Commerz Real open-ended real estate fund hausInvest since 2014.

Wing and RTL Services Kft., a business services company of Magyar RTL Televízió Zrt., have signed a long-term lease agreement involving the soon to be renovated Liget Center and Liget Auditorium office buildings. RTL Hungary’s head office and news studios will relocate to this nearly 9,000 sqm complex in a historic environment opposite City Park in 2024, after the renovation of the heritage buildings in a development fully tailored to the tenant’s needs.

Euronics, an electronics and appliances retailer, has signed a contract for nearly 28.000 sqm of warehouse space in CTP's CTPark Budapest East industrial park in Üllő, Hungary. Euronics will develop a fully automated warehouse right next to Lenovo's first European factory. The building is scheduled to start operations in early 2022.

Zebra Technologies, a global leader in mobile computing, barcode printers and scanners, is moving from Brno’s Královo Pole district, where it has been operating for 17 years, to the Vlněna office complex built by CTP in the centre of Brno.

Real estate advisory firm Savills has been appointed as the letting agent for the office space in Diamante Plaza in Kraków.

CTP has provided tailor-made logistics space to international technology and services provider Bosch. The company has leased a distribution centre in one of the largest industrial parks in the Czech Republic. Bosch will move its operations from the Netherlands to CTPark Bor in Western Bohemia, where it will have over 15,000 sqm of lettable area.

IBM Hungary is relocating its headquarters to Corvin Quarter in Budapest. The tech company will be moving into Futureal’s Corvin Innovation Campus in a phased co-location starting in 2023.
