Panattoni has purchased a land plot where it is to build Panattoni Park Kraków East V. The launch of construction work is scheduled for October and the park’s first tenant – Highway Automotive – has already been found.

StudentSpace, a student housing platform, launched earlier this year by Signal Capital Partners, Griffin Capital Partners, and Echo Investment, announced the start of the construction of its first investments. The company has secured two prime plots in Kraków for the development of two dormitories. Located near public transportation, these new dormitories will provide convenient access to universities and downtown areas, accommodating over 1,200 students. Looking ahead, StudentSpace plans to launch projects in Warsaw, with construction expected to begin next year. These are the first investments by StudentSpace, which aims to build 5,000 beds over the next 3 to 5 years. The company also launched a website and brand identity.

Eika Real Estate Fund (EREF) has acquired the BIG office in Poland, in the central part of Kraków, which is let to State Street Bank. The fund plans to further expand its investments in logistics, offices and retail parks in Poland. The price has not been revealed.

Total new office supply in Poland’s mine largest markets rose by 125,000 sqm during H1 2024 compared to the same period of last year, with Warsaw, Wrocław and Krakow commanding the biggest share of new deliveries, according to a report by Cushman & Wakefield. 

Panattoni has begun the final construction stage of its City Logistics Kraków I urban park in the city’s Nowa Huta district. A total of 11,300 sqm is to be built with the park to expand to its final target size of 36,500 sqm.

The Radisson RED Hotel & Radisson RED Apartments hotel opened in Kraków’s Unity Centre. The property features 229 rooms, along with 46 extended-stay apartments located in a separate building.

Savills, on behalf of private investors, together with CA Ventures and Golub & Co., has completed the sale of LivinnX, a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) building in Kraków, Poland, to Xior. The asset, LivinnX, has 290 self-contained units with 673 student beds and offers many amenities, including a roof terrace with a jacuzzi, climbing wall, gym, sauna, community kitchen, laundry room, music room and various other recreational and study spaces. The total lettable area is c.14,400 sqm. The price has not been disclosed.

Panattoni has delivered Panattoni Park Kraków East IV. The development is now to be financed with a €10.5 million loan granted by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The centre has been fully leased out to OMEGA Pilzno.

Panattoni has received financial support for the development of the City Logistics Kraków III project. The €21 million loan granted by mBank will make it possible to finalise the construction of this logistics park located in Kraków’s Nowa Huta district.

Volvo Tech Hub will occupy 10,000 sqm of space at Brain Park C. A new section of Volvo Car Poland will be moving into the Kraków office building, from Echo Investment, in three phases, starting in September 2024. In the transaction, the tenant was represented by JLL Polska. In addition, JLL's PDS department also provided support for the project.
