Panattoni has completed another production plant in the Kraków region. Technoform, the leading producer of double-glazing components, is to use 9,400 sqm of BTS space. The centre is to serve markets in both Poland and the EU. The development was financed with an €8 million loan from Credit Agricole.

GLP has started construction of a new warehouse in Niepołomice near Kraków. The sole tenant of GLP Kraków III Logistics Centre will be MCG EastBridge, a new brand from the Maszoński Logistic portfolio, marking the largest lease transaction in terms of square footage on the Polish warehouse market in H1 2023. 

KREO, Ghelamco’s newest project in Kraków, has received an occupancy permit. More than 24,000 sqm of office space awaits tenants.

Panattoni has completed space within Panattoni Park Kraków West I tailored to the needs of biotechnology firm SyVento BioTech, which is to use the space for advanced pharmaceutical production. The park in Skawina has now been fully leased with space in the park also used by companies from the retail, electronics and logistics industries.

MCG EastBridge, part of the Maszoński Group's portfolio is growing. Following a record-breaking deal on the Kraków warehouse market in Q1 2023 for nearly 37,000 sqm at GLP Kraków III Logistics Centre, the company decided to expand by more than 19,000 sqm. Under the signed agreements, MCG EastBridge will occupy a total of 56,200 sqm and will be a single occupier in the development, which is being built in the Niepołomice Investment Zone near Kraków. The two-stage lease is the largest signed transaction in the Polish warehouse market in the first half of 2023. In both cases, MCG EastBridge was represented by AXI IMMO.

Panattoni has completed Panattoni Park Kraków North, its largest project in Małopolska with an area of over 56,500 sqm. Trivium Packaging is to occupy around 21,000 sqm while Almus is to take up over 25,000 sqm. These are two of the largest leases signed by Panattoni in the region.

Skanska has obtained the WELL Core & Shell certification at the Gold level for Building C of the High5ive office complex located in Kraków. This is the first project in the city to be awarded such certification at the highest score.

Hospitality group Accor has inaugurated The Crown, a four-star hotel in Kraków, which is part of the Handwritten Collection, a portfolio of boutique hotels from around the world. This is Accor’s second property of this kind in the region and the first in Poland.

In the first half of 2023, over 93% of powiats around large cities in Poland showed an increase in interest in apartments for sale following the easing of conditions for granting mortgage loans, according to Otodom data.

Panattoni is beginning the construction of City Logistics Kraków Airport II, a speculative project worth €34 million. It will be located near Balice Airport - the second-largest airport in the country.
