The third fund of the Arete Group has completed the acquisition of a production site in Beluša, Slovakia, which is leased by Booster Precision Components. The value of the transaction exceeded €10 million, the company announced on its website.

Panattoni has completed a production and business centre for Danfoss Poland. The 13,000 sqm complex of buildings together with its accompanying facilities was completed a year after the launch of construction work. Dekpol was the general contractor. 

White Star Logistics, a joint venture between White Star Real Estate and Bain Capital Credit, will build a 30,000 sqm logistics and manufacturing park in Łodź. The complex will consist of two buildings, the first of which will be commissioned in the first half of 2023. This is another investment of White Star Logistics, which was announced in recent months - after warehouse parks in Raszyn, Nowy Konik and Toruń. 

Property investor Globalworth has purchased a small business units logistics project previously developed by CATTED in Chitila, near Bucharest. Furthermore, the two companies will acquire a land plot of around 45,000 sqm in Ștefănești for a new logistics investment.

Within a month, BSH, the largest producer of home appliances in Europe, will be using over 12,000 sqm within Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. The building will be used for storing tumble dryer components. This far Panattoni has delivered three developments with a combined area of around 150,000 sqm for BSH. Moreover, as part of the CEL Hub, the developer has delivered Appliance Park for component suppliers that serve the BSH factory. 

Romania's commercial property market has remained liquid throughout the pandemic period, with total investment volumes reaching €1.83 billion over the 2020-2021 period, up 8.7% versus 2018-2019, according to a report by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

Real estate advisory firm Savills anticipates that some of the immediate knock-on effects of the war in Ukraine on the Polish logistics market will include sustained demand for new warehouse projects amid construction difficulties and a prospect of rental growth in ready-to-occupy facilities.

Panattoni has just completed its fifth project for K-Flex in Uniejów in central Poland. In March, the developer also signed a new contract for the development of an extension of K-Flex’s production campus. This will be its sixth building and is to have an area of 33,000 sqm. The total area of K-Flex’s facilities in Uniejów will thus reach 100,000 sqm. This will allow the company, a leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials, to service the growing needs of its construction clients in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Globalworth’s net profit in 2021 significantly improved to €47.5 million (2020: net loss of €46.8 million) while it recorded its best year in office leasing with 214,500 sqm of spaces taken up or extended. The company has released its annual report and audited consolidated financial results for 2021.

In 2021, Poland's warehouse market recorded another outstanding result. The seven most important highlights included a record-breaking volume of investment transactions, take-up, and space under construction. The total industrial stock at the end of December 2021 amounted to more than 25 million sqm, with the vacancy rate indicating only 3.72%.
