Romanians want offices where they have options for networking and interacting both at work and in their free time, a trend that is increasingly visible around the world, according to a survey commissioned by local developer Genesis Property. 

Construction work has started on Panattoni Park Piła in Poland’s Wielkopolska province. The 44,000 sqm logistics park is already 90 pct leased – with Signify having taken up 33,500 sqm.

Czechs are still afraid of cooperative housing. It is the preferred form of ownership for only 3% of those who plan to buy a flat or house, while 13% do not even consider it when buying a property. However, due to the rise in mortgage rates and property prices, cooperative housing is more affordable and thus 22% of respondents have recently improved their opinion on it, according to a survey by Komerční banka and Modrá pyramida, a building society.

The pan-European developer, which entered the Hungarian market a relatively short time ago, sees a lot of opportunities in the countryside to build logistics centres for different end-users. According to Savills latest research, over 5.7 million sqm of new office space will be completed in Europe in 2022, of which 49% is currently pre-let. In Warsaw, Savills forecasts that a rebound in demand and an undersupply of new office stock will translate into visibly shrinking availability.

LOCONI Intermodal S.A. has leased almost 2,000 sqm of office and warehouse space and nearly 80,000 sqm of space for transport on the premises of the railway cargo terminal within an OKAM project located at Jagiellońska Street, in the Warsaw district of Żerań. Walter Herz, the leading agent for the commercialisation of the project, represented the owner in the lease process.

The City of Prague wants to build cooperative flats where the city could continue to rent out one-third of the flats. However, the councillors disagree on the conditions under which the entire project should be implemented in Prague 5. If they agree and construction begins, the project would offer cooperatives favourable conditions for financing housing without a mortgage and cheaper prices for construction by the developer. The councillors are now trying to find a compromise to get the project off the ground, reports Seznamzprávy.cz.
