Accolade has completed a new logistic park in Elbląg, the first Class A warehouse in this area. The 20,000 sqm industrial park is fully leased to its two tenants: Flex and DPD.

With the beginning of the year, Accolade Group completed the new park in Elbląg - the second largest city of the Warmian - Masurian Voivodship. Elbląg Park is situated only five kilometres away from the city centre, and a 35-minute drive from the port of Gdańsk. The direct vicinity of the S7 expressway connects it well with Warsaw and Kraków.

Elbląg, with its population of 120.000 inhabitants and two universities, struggles with a relatively high unemployment rate. "With the creation of our new industrial park, come 200 new workplaces. Elbląg offers access to a wide range of potential qualified employees, and we are looking forward to filling the gap in the local employment market", explained Jarek Wnuk, Managing Director of Accolade Poland. "Currently. there is no other A-class warehouse in the immediate vicinity, and it is not the first time that we enter a logistically underserved region and thrive. Accolade’s strategy to choose locations that are “unevident” at a first glance, is based on years of our experience and the ability to identify the potential of the smaller cities and grow together with them. Elbląg is another example of this successful process – the park is already fully leased", added Wnuk.

Accolade Park is the first A-class industrial park in Elbląg. The 20,000 sqm warehouse, consists of 2 buildings, situated on a 7 ha plot, and is fully leased to its two tenants: Flex and DPD.

Flex is an international electronics manufacturing services company that provides innovative design, engineering, manufacturing, real-time supply chain insight and logistics services to companies of all sizes in various industries and end markets. Elblag is yet another location after Łódź, where Flex has set up a dedicated area for various future activities.

DPD, the international parcel delivery network already cooperates with Accolade in many other locations, such as Białystok, Koszalin, Jelenia Góra and Bydgoszcz.

Just like all the parks in the Accolade portfolio, the Park is BREEAM certified (Very Good) and will soon be equipped in Accolade’s green solutions, such as e-waste containers, AEDs and little architecture on the plot surrounding the buildings.
