The Delta Trans Group, a provider of logistics services with over 30 years of presence in the Polish market, has renegotiated and expanded its lease to around 17,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in Ruda Śląska in a property managed by Savills Investment Management. The tenant was advised during the renegotiation process by experts of real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

VGP has concluded a lease agreement with Pilulka Lékárny for 4,479 sqm of warehouse space in the newly completed hall "I" in VGP Park Olomouc. The company is one of the largest pharmaceutical and pharmacy groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The warehouses in Olomouc will be used for supplying customers in several regions: Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc and Prostějov. The new premises have been implemented in the BREEAM Very Good green certification.

With energy prices rising at an unprecedented rate and the system of governmental discounts on utility bills in Hungary significantly changing, working from the office might become a more attractive option even for those that love working only from home. In the coming months, not only employees but employers will also try to reduce their energy use. Energy-efficient office buildings will further increase in value as they will become a more attractive option for tenants. Flex and serviced offices will also see increased demand as they will be able to provide a more financially stable option for tenants with utility costs included in the rental fee.

GTC has once again received LEED certifications for the Aeropark office buildings located in Warsaw. Zephirus kept its Gold level, while Nothus upgraded its rating and achieved Platinum.

The total office stock in Bucharest reached 3.3 million sqm at the end of the first semester of 2022, with just one new building (AFI Tech Park – phase 2) spanning 25,000 sqm being completed in the second quarter of this year. 

Around 500,000 sqm of logistics spaces have been leased in Romania in the first semester of the year, up 38% compared to the same period of last year, with the largest pre-leased surface of almost 88,000 sqm secured in Prahova County, according to property consultancy CBRE Romania. 

Industrial developer WDP has purchased Arad Business Park, with a leasable area of around 42,000 sqm, for an undisclosed sum in a transaction brokered by real estate consultancy Colliers.
