The year 2022 was a successful year for CTP, marked by stable growth and excellent business results. In 2022, the portfolio area in the Czech Republic was expanded by 300,000 sqm, bringing the total area to 3.8 million sqm. Rental income increased by 13% year-on-year to €230.3 million (CZK 5.7 billion). At present, CTP is the largest player in the Czech industrial-logistics property market with a 28% share. 

Industrial halls, which are being built on the site of former poultry farms in Liberec, have a new owner. The investment fund CB Property Investors from the Crowdberry group has become the new owner for more than CZK 1 billion (€42 million), Seznamzpravy.cz reports.

Decarbonization of the construction sector plays a crucial role in achieving climate goals, as the real estate market is responsible for 38% of global CO2 emissions, according to UN data. In the case of new buildings, especially industrial ones, eco-friendly solutions have become the new standard. The 4-star K+K Elisabeta hotel located in the Bucharest city center has been sold to Lorand and Zsuzsanna Szarvadi, the owners of the Balvanyos Resort & Spa in Covasna for an undisclosed sum. 

Prices of new homes in Romania will fall this year due to lower demand as loan conditions have tightened, but more people will be looking to rent instead and this is leading to an increase in prices this year, according to an analysis by JLL Romania. 

Fuzja is the first Łódź location of CitySpace, an operator of flexible office space. The concept, owned by Echo Investment, will occupy an office building on the site of the former Karol Scheibler plant, where the Fuzja mixed-use project is currently under construction. The location encompassing the entire office building on an exclusive basis is new to CitySpace. MIXD studio is responsible for the interior design. The opening is scheduled for May 2023.

Panattoni has completed a new build-to-own development for DHL Parcel. The new owner will be making use of a cross-docking centre with an area of almost 9,000 sqm, which the company acquired late last year. The development in Kostrzyn is yet another built-to-suit centre constructed by Panattoni for the DHL group and yet another in the Wielkopolska region.
