7R has finalised the sale of 7R City Flex Gdańsk II. The new owner of the warehouse is GLP Europe. The facility comprises 11,000 sqm of space – currently fully leased by leading brands from the food and FMCG sectors. The price has not been disclosed.

“We are pleased to have concluded this deal with 7R, a long-term trusted partner. The acquisition of this property strengthens our presence in the Gdansk region and complements our existing portfolio of logistics assets. This enables us to provide our clients with wider options in terms of location and unit configuration within the region as they strive to optimize their supply chains and reach a wider customer base", says Marek Jandous, director of investments and asset management in CEE at GLP Europe.

"GLP Europe is a reliable and trusted business partner for 7R, with whom we have completed several projects since 2019. We are pleased that the faith in 7R has resulted in the acquisition of 7R City Flex Gdańsk II. This transaction proves that 7R provides high-quality warehouses to the market that are attractive to tenants as well as globally renowned warehouse investors. We are proud that GLP Europe trusted 7R once again", adds Paulina Lisek, Senior Manager Capital Markets at 7R, who was responsible for the transaction.

7R City Flex Gdańsk II warehouse is located near the centre of Gdańsk, close to the A1 highway and the junction with the S7 expressway. Thanks to its strategic location, the facility meets the requirements of a last-mile logistics warehouse and enables delivery times to be reduced as much as possible. The facility's current tenants include brands such as Euronet Polska, Frisco and KTD Wyposażenie Obiektów Handlowych.

“Due to its location, the Tricity real estate market is one of the most attractive regions in Poland. 7R City Flex Gdańsk II is a functional project in an excellent location. We are convinced that it will perfectly incorporate into the portfolio of the new owner", adds Magdalena Uler-Kłeczek, Senior Capital Markets Director at 7R.

The 7R City Flex Gdańsk building is BREEAM-certified. Among other green solutions used there are: LED lighting, daylight illumination of the unloading area, and the installation of destratification units, which discharge warm air to lower parts of the building.

White & Case and Deloitte represented GLP. 7R was represented by SKJB law office and in tax matters by Crido.

Shopper Park Plus closes Polish retail park deal
