Four more apartment buildings are to be built in the vicinity of Bratislava's Bory Hospital and the Bory Promenade residential phase. Penta Real Estate wants to build more than 300 flats there and therefore intends to submit the relevant documentation to the permit authorities in September, according to the Hospodarske noviny daily quoted by Reality.trend.sk. The developer plans to start construction in 2026.

The Prague 3 City Council has approved two contracts with developers Penta and Finep to build on one of Prague's largest brownfield sites at the former Žižkov railway station. This may lead to a change in the zoning plan, which the developers have been waiting for. On the other hand, the city and the district itself will receive CZK 267 million (almost €11 million) in so-called contribs, which will go towards building public parks, reconstructing schools and building a new kindergarten, writes e15.cz.

Czech Investment group Kaprain acquired ca. 53,000 sqm brownfield site from Howden ČKD Compressors, part of Howden, a leading global engineering company, which was recently acquired by Chart Industries. Howden ČKD Compressors exclusively appointed Colliers to market the facility for sale.

The report has been prepared in accordance with the company’s first comprehensive ESG strategy, which will be finalised soon.

Pharmaceutical company Biofarm has sold a plot of land close to Victoriei Square in Bucharest for around €5 million. The land spanning 2,176 sqm, which used to host an industrial facility, was taken over by Romanian company Iancu de Hunedoara Residence SRL. The deal was brokered by Crosspoint Real Estate. 

PPF Real Estate’s two office buildings in central Bucharest, Crystal Tower and Metropolis, are now running partially on solar power following the installation of photovoltaic panels on their rooftops. 

Panattoni has completed space within Panattoni Park Kraków West I tailored to the needs of biotechnology firm SyVento BioTech, which is to use the space for advanced pharmaceutical production. The park in Skawina has now been fully leased with space in the park also used by companies from the retail, electronics and logistics industries.

OKAM City, located at ul. Jagiellońska 88 in Warsaw, the former Żerań FSO car factory, has a new property manager. The owner and developer OKAM Capital instructed international real estate advisory firm Savills to provide property management for the site.

A logistics service provider has renewed and expanded its lease in GLP Pomeranian Logistics Centre. Under its new contract the tenant will occupy approximately 22,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in the complex. Real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska was instructed to negotiate the terms of the lease.

A complex of urban warehouses and sales and exhibition spaces is to be built on the border of two Bratislava districts, Rača and Vajnory. According to the developer Alto Real Estate, the project named STORE.TO could include small distribution centres, e-shops and facilities for small businesses, production and services or for buying directly from the warehouses. However, the future design has not yet been disclosed, but the cost of construction is estimated at €24 million, yimba.sk reports.
