The first Ibis Styles hotel will open on the Romanian seaside this summer following a franchise agreement signed by Accor and Paradis Hotels & Resort, a company owned by Romanian entrepreneur Aurelian Marin.

As part of the partnership, the building of the current Dana Holiday Club project will be revamped and rebranded as Ibis Styles. The hotel will have 179 rooms, an exterior pool, a restaurant and fitness facilities.

“The new ibis Styles Venus hotel proves not only our pledge to expand in Romania, but also boosts the attractiveness of the Romanian seaside,” said Cătălina Toma, Accor’s Development Director for Romania, Bulgaria and Republic of Moldova.

Following the new partnership, the ibis Styles’ local network will edge closer to 10 projects.
