Romanian developer Forty Management has obtained the Green Homes certification from the Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) for its District Viitorului 134 mixed-use project based in Bucharest. 

JRD is merging two of its divisions. JRD Development, a specialist in sustainable development and healthy living, and JRD Land, a land bank and specialist in subdivision development and urban planning. This creates a division with the new name JRD Real Estate. The CEO of JRD Real Estate remains Alexandra Tomášková, who has been leading the two separate divisions from her position as CEO.

European convenience real estate investor Mitiska REIM has announced a strategic joint venture partnership with Belgium-based self-storage company, STORO. As part of the agreement, Mitiska REIM, on behalf of the MEREP 3 fund, has purchased a stake in STORO’s self-storage sites.  

The estimated value of transactions in the Polish institutional rental market exceeded €1.8 billion at the end of 2022, most of which were contracts for projects under development (forward contracts), according to the latest DLA Piper and Savills report – PRS market in CEE. Four buildings of the Wiśniowy Business Park changed hands as the Hungarian company obtained the properties from Netherlands-based seller Cherry MidCo B.V. This is Appeninn's first acquisition outside Hungary.

United Benefits Holding is entering the Polish real estate market with the acquisition of the 16,000 sqm Silver Forum office building in Wrocław.  The company plans to optimize the property with a focus on ESG standards and mobility, thus leveraging the property’s value-add potential. The price of the asset has not been disclosed.
