Property group NEPI Rockcastle has completed its first residential project in Romania. The Bucharest-based Vulcan Residence complex features 254 apartments and has been delivered with an 80% sale rate.

Vlad Stanislav, Managing Director Romania at iO Partners, talked to Property Forum about the company’s expansion in the energy and infrastructure line of services and the higher yield environment in Romania’s property sector compared to other markets in CEE.

The residential market in Slovakia has almost stopped. The top ten Slovak developers have sold a total of fewer than 800 apartments in Slovakia, as 2023 figures are showing in the ranking on Index.sme.sk.

CPI Property Group has published its audited financial results for the financial year ended 31 December 2023, confirming a stable market environment with high occupancy figures. On the other side, the figures have shown a considerable net loss of €877 million, driven predominantly by a non-cash negative revaluation result. Panattoni is developing another BTS project for K-Flex – an international manufacturer of elastomeric thermal and acoustic insulation materials. A seventh building of 20,000 sqm in the warehousing and manufacturing complex in Uniejów will be completed in June this year. 

Nexo Group, a Romanian full-service group for real estate development, construction, and housing installations, will invest €10 million in the construction of villas in Pipera area, near northern Bucharest.

Design and construction consulting office Obermeyer Helika has completed and handed over the documentation for the construction of the Semerínka residential project in Prague 5 Radlice developed by Crestyl. The construction of the project has started.

Romanian developer One United Properties has purchased a 21-hectare land plot in Bucharest for an undisclosed amount. The company plans to start a new residential development that will feature around 5,000 homes.

CTP has increased its total lettable area in the Czech Republic to over 4 million sqm, reaching a 27% share of the Czech industrial real estate market.
