Bucharest’s office development pipeline is low, with just 24,000 sqm expected for delivery by the end of 2025, which could further push pre-leasing activity to new lows, according to a report by iO Partners.

Skanska has sold the Nowy Rynek E office building constructed in the Wilda district of Poznań, Poland. The buyer is Eastnine AB, a Swedish real estate company focused on office premises in prime locations at selected markets in the Baltics and Poland. This is the second transaction between these two parties in Central and Eastern Europe. 

In 2023, the share of imported construction materials in the Ukrainian market rose to 23% (compared to 14% in 2021). Experts note that the domestic construction materials market requires systematic support from the government. Croatian investor Pemo Centar has announced the development of a new office building in Zagreb. The Business Centre Arena office building spanning 9,900 sqm will be delivered by Q4 2025 following an investment of around €20 million.

Romanian developer Forty Management will open this week, in Bucharest, a public access lagoon, part of Lagoon Park Bucharest project, following an investment of €33 million.

JLL will be responsible for leasing Atenor's future projects in Poland. Based on the success of Lakeside, Atenor has decided to entrust JLL with the commercialisation of its next two projects: Lakeside II i.e. the modernised UBC II building and FORT 7.

A retail park in Bielsko-Biała, which is being built on the site of a Tesco shop on Warszawska Street, has a new owner. Redkom Development, responsible for the construction and commercialisation of the facility, sold the project to Newgate Investment, a company specializing in managing the value of retail properties, especially retail parks. The price has not been disclosed.
