The handover of the second office building one month ahead of schedule completed the construction of the West Station scheme next to the Warszawa Zachodnia station. With an area of 38,000 sqm, the new building is one of the largest built in Warsaw this year. More companies have just shown their appreciation for its offices by leasing over 8,300 sqm of space.

The GTC Group has acquired a modern A-class office building in Belgrade, Serbia for an undisclosed sum. Belgrade Business Center offers 17,900 sqm of GLA and 307 parking places. The acquisition will increase GTC’s Serbian portfolio to 98,400 sqm GLA.

Hungarian developer and investor Wing has purchased the Európa Center Business and Logistic Park, located in the northernmost part of Budapest, next to the M0 ring road. Wing plans to further develop the park which has been renamed Login Business Park.

Investment volumes in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia and Turkey) reached €7 billion in H1 2017. This is 6% less than in the same period of the previous year.

CTP has agreed to sell its non-core assets to DMO Invest for approximately €40 million. The sale involved CTP’s subsidiary CT Retail—a holding company for a portfolio of supermarkets and other retail properties.

Tesco’s department store next to Brno’s main railway station has been sold to British developer Crestyl for an undisclosed sum. The supermarket will continue to operate at its current location. 

Central and Eastern European markets are booming and most segments of the property business are growing rapidly, thus providing an opportunity for advisory firms to expand. Panattoni Europe has embarked on the project to build the central warehouse for the building and home design retail chain, OBI. The BTS facility with close to 50,700 sqm will be delivered near Łódź, in the Nowosolna commune. Its development has been divided into two stages – with the first one scheduled for completion in November 2017.

The first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Romania is to be opened by end-2017 in Bucharest. The 201-room hotel will be located within an historic listed building in the city centre. Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town will be administered by hotel management company Apex Alliance Hotel Management.

Bog’Art has been selected to build the new Bucharest headquarters of Renault, according to zf.ro. The new office building, to be named Renault Connected Bucharest, will comprise 47,000 sqm of office space.
