French asset management company MNK Partners has added the NC3 building in Warsaw to its MNK One portfolio. The office building is located on ul. Postępu in the city's Służewiec business district. The value of transaction has not been disclosed. 

Ghelamco has announced the sale of office buildings together with a retail and service passage in The Warsaw HUB complex. Google Poland is the purchaser, one of the main tenants of the building.

AFI Europe, an international investment group, is to buy shares in the Towarowa 22 project in Warsaw. AFI Europe and Echo Investment will jointly develop the commercial part of this complex. Echo Investment will independently be the investor of the residential part and the developer of the entire project.

Lincoln Property Company (LPC), an established investor, developer, and provider of management services, active in the US and European commercial real estate sector, has resumed its operations in Poland. Damian Grzywacz was appointed Managing Director of Lincoln Property Company in Poland following LPC’s acquisition of The Form in Warsaw last year, and has been tasked with identifying further investment projects in the region.

More than half of the 1.24 million sqm of office space leased in 2021 was located in Warsaw. Renegotiations accounted for nearly 45% of the total transaction volume.  However, the main regional cities now account for three times more square metreage under construction than the capital city.

Opened in September 2021, the Norblin Factory is filling up with tenants. The project’s investor, the Capital Park Group, has signed lease contracts with another six concepts which will soon join the revitalised complex at Żelazna Street. The office space of the multifunctional building was already fully leased last year.

Earlier this week, Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib and Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski visited the Ukrainian capital and invited Kyiv to join the Pact of Free Cities. Founded in 2019 by the mayors of Bratislava, Budapest, Warsaw, and Prague, the pact aims to strengthen the values of freedom, dignity, democracy, and the rule of law.

White Star Logistics, a joint venture between White Star Real Estate and Bain Capital Credit, is commencing the development of a 55,000 sqm logistics center in Raszyn. Within the investment, whose commercialization began at the beginning of the year, three buildings will be constructed in stages. 

The flagship adidas store in CEE will be located on several floors of the Sawa building in Warsaw, in the very centre of the capital. This store will be the brand’s largest and newest concept in CEE.

Experts from the consulting company BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland summed up the final quarter of 2021, regarding office space in Warsaw. The market closed the year with 325,000 sqm of new modern space, but vacancy rate are increasing, and an escalation in contract renewals is agitating the situation within the demand structure. Therefore "flexibility" has turned out to be the most important word for all market players. The authors underline that the situation in 2022 will be comparable.
