Eika Asset Management (EAM), the investment management company of Lithuania's Eika Group, has signed an agreement with Polish developer Waimea Holding for industrial developments in Poland. 

New office projects with a combined leasable area of nearly 64,000 sqm were completed during H1 2024, with the volume soaring almost three-and-a-half times compared to the same period of 2023, according to a BNP Paribas Real Estate report.  

Private student housing (PBSA) investor roomies has announced the closing of a transaction with 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG for two projects in Poland. 

The first half of 2024 on the Warsaw office market marked an evolutionary change on both the demand and supply side. Development activity is slowly returning to pre-pandemic levels, with 280,000 sqm under construction at the end of June. On the demand side, we are observing a continuation of the renegotiation trend. The total take-up was 320,000 sqm, a comparable result to H1 2023, according to Axi Immo's latest report. 

The 13th edition of the JLL Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament - starts today. 64 teams will play at the Monta Beach Volley Club in Warsaw to raise funds for charity. The entire amount raised during the event will, for the second time, be used to support the construction of the Ronald McDonald House at the "Pomnik - Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka" Institute. Skyliner II is the second phase of the Warsaw high-rise complex owned by the Karimpol Group. The project will deliver approximately 24,000 sqm of leasable office space. It has been rated Outstanding under BREEAM New Construction with a score of 91.9 percent.

According to a report published by Newmark Polska, the Warsaw office market has entered a period of stabilization, with development activity continuing at a moderate but steady pace. During the second quarter of 2024, the Polish capital’s vacancy rate edged down over the quarter, while more and more tenants chose to renegotiate leases. Meanwhile, the growing occupier demand for sustainable and high-tech offices led to an increase in refurbishment or repurposing projects.

A consortium of Santander Bank Polska and Bank Pekao S.A. granted AFI Europe and Echo Investment a construction and investment loan of €103.4 million and a VAT loan of PLN 20 million. The loan will finance the development of Office House, the first phase of the multifunctional Towarowa 22 project. It will be completed in the spring of 2025.

CTP has leased around 10,000 sqm of modern warehouse space at CTPark Warsaw North to Trako Team Rafał Kopański, a Polish brand from the transport, shipping and logistics (TSL) sector.

The joint venture between Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors has launched the construction of the C2 facility at City Point Targówek. The light industrial building will offer 25,000 sqm of space with units starting from 1,000 sqm. Depenbrock Poland is the general contractor for the project.
