Yareal Polska has announced the successful closing of a €45 million investment loan, with a term of 5 years, from pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (pbb).

State-owned Polski Holding Nieruchomości (PHN) is starting construction of the Vena office building in Warsaw's Wola district. Construction work will take two years and the estimated investment cost is around PLN 200 million.

Ghelamco has announced closing the deal concerning the sale of a high-rise building at Rondo Daszyńskiego, which houses hotels of the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Express Inn chains. The buyer is the French fund Corum XL. This is the third and final building sold from Ghelamco’s portfolio in The Warsaw HUB. The price has not been disclosed.

Karimpol Polska has chosen Warbud S.A. as the general contractor for its investment. One of Poland‘s largest construction companies will deliver the Skyliner II project. Construction of the second phase of the office complex at Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw will start in February 2024 and will take 34 months. The 28-storey Skyliner II will be 130 metres high.

Savills has been appointed as property manager for the Lakeside office complex, developed by Atenor in Warsaw’s Mokotów district.

Heimstaden Poland has obtained a loan of €47.2 million from Santander Bank Polska. The funds will be used to refinance the company's first two projects: Bokserska and Grzybowska, which are completed and fully leased. A total of 566 high-quality apartments for rent were built as part of both investments, the company announced on LinkedIn.

The global provider of logistics and relocation services has renewed its lease for space at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park for another term. Universal Express moved into the logistics centre almost a decade ago, and now occupies 13,600 sqm of modern space.

Many industry discussions have long chalked up the retail market as an industry in deep recession, with very bleak prospects. According to the participants of the retail panel at the Future of Real Estate 2023 conference in Warsaw in November, the retail industry in Poland is not only not dying, but is regaining vigour and investor interest. Interest in leasing offices in Poland is growing. In the third quarter, both in Warsaw and on the regional markets, the demand for office space was the highest this year. In the regions, 2023 will close with a result similar to the record from 2019.
