The investment group DRFG has bought the Signum Work Station office building in Warsaw, with a leasable area of over 32,500 sqm, reports E15.cz.

Signum is located near Frédéric Chopin Airport. It has seven above-ground and three underground floors. Tenants include Ringier Axel Springer, Mondelez International, Columbia or PPD. The building has a BREEAM Excellent environmental certificate and offers elements supporting sustainable mobility.

"In Poland, this is the first office building in the hands of the group. In the coming period, however, we also see potential in this area and are therefore actively looking for other opportunities," said Jan Pelíšek, Director of Real Estate Development CEE at DRFG Group.

The seller is a Luxembourg group owned by an international investment bank, represented by the Australian real estate investment group Cromwell Property Group as administrator. The entire transaction was significantly accelerated by flexibility and the possibility of realisation from its resources. The price has not been disclosed. Bank financing will follow next year. The development company TriGranit, which became part of the DRFG group in August, is also involved in the transaction. In addition to ensuring space improvements for existing and new tenants, she will also be in charge of modernising installed technologies, building management and further increasing the ESG efficiency of the building.

The Signum Work Station building was built in 2009, five years ago it underwent partial reconstruction and modernisation. In addition to offices, it also houses retail and storage areas. The underground floor and outdoor spaces provide a total of 869 parking spaces.
