Passerinvest Group, in partnership with the GEMO group, has advanced construction on the Sequoia development in Prague, with final completion scheduled for H1 2028. Gemo is also serving as the general contractor for the project.
"Completion of the foundation slab represents one of the key milestones of the entire construction. At this stage the building gains its definitive footprint and work on the individual floors can begin. Sequoia is being built in demanding geological and terrain conditions, so we focused from the outset on the technical solution for the foundations and its long-term durability. All works are proceeding on schedule," said Martin Unger, Technical and ESG Director at Passerinvest Group.
Sequoia is a further step in the transformation of New Roztyly, where Passerinvest Group is gradually creating an urban district combining office buildings, public spaces, services, greenery and future residential development.
Once finished, Sequoia will offer more than 33,000 sqm of offices, a canteen with a café, shared meeting spaces for up to 200 people, a rooftop terrace with greenery, private loggias and facilities for cyclists. The underground floors provide 488 parking spaces, some equipped with EV charging stations.
The building will use heat pumps, photovoltaic panels and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, with attention to indoor environment quality, water management including blue-green infrastructure, and biodiversity. The project will obtain Breeam Outstanding certification.
