The decline in residential real estate prices in Slovakia has almost stopped. Available monthly statistics are indicating when the residential property prices' bottom hit has happened, the National Bank of Slovakia reports.

The construction of the Stockerka project from the Proxenta investment group has been officially started, YIMBA.sk reports. After projects in the centre of Bratislava, the developer decided to build a residential complex in the Devínska Nová Ves district.

Developer Corwin has finished the residential complex Kvartet in Ljubljana. The first foreign project of a Slovak developer in Slovenia has obtained a valid building use approval and is almost completely sold out.

As early as 2022, when banks started raising mortgage prices, the fewest apartments in new buildings have been sold in Bratislava since the economic crisis. The 2023 market figures are not optimistic either, DennikN.sk reports.

Developer Penta Real Estate has obtained the building permit for the next stage of its Bory residential zone, YIMBA.sk reports. The permit is not valid yet, however, the whole permitting process has run at full speed in this case.

The new Construction Act, or the Construction Act and Spatial Planning Act, was supposed to enter into force in Slovakia on 1st April 2024. Industrial/logistics developer CTP has announced the 30,000 sqm expansion of CTPark Košice in Slovakia following two pre-lets.

In Bratislava´s Ružinov district, between Gagarinova, Mierová and Brodná streets, the construction of the Polyfunkčný objekt Mierová is planned, reports YIMBA.sk. This mixed-use project is being prepared by the developer RETEP, which has received a binding opinion from the city.
