Developer Trammell Crow Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CBRE Group, has appointed Petr Kovařík as Chief Logistics Officer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. From TCC's Prague office, Petr will oversee the company's business and strategic development in the local market, as well as the selection, acquisition and financing of large-scale logistics projects in the region.

Occam Real Estate wants to expand its development activities in Košice. The military boarding school Hviezda in Bratislava, also known as "Kukurica", has been dilapidated for many years. Local developer Lucron has sold an entire residential building to an institutional investor for the first time. Part of the Arboria Apartments project implemented in Trnava, Slovakia, the building with 51 apartments was purchased by Kooperativa poistovňa, a.s. Vienna Insurance Group, which plans to lease it on a long-term basis.

The Railways of the Slovak Republic (ŽSR) intends to sell its railway hospital with a clinic and hostel in Trnavský Mýto in Bratislava. The sale will take place in the form of an electronic auction, which starts at a starting price of € 19.9 million excluding VAT, online daily trend.sk quotes the announcement of the tender published on the ŽSR website.

Realized prices of flats in Slovakia rose by more than 10 % in Q4 2021. Prices of sales recorded in the cadastre of the real estate continued to grow dynamically at the end of 2021, dwellings were sold more expensive by more than 10 % year-on-year, and prices rose by 3.6 % compared to the summer months, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced.

Panattoni Park Košice Aiport has expanded by a second hall. The first tenants have already taken over the area of around 6,300 sqm. The nearly 20,000 sqm hall was built by developer Panattoni in cooperation with investor Accolade. Erik Ivaničko, Panattoni's director for Slovakia, told the TASR news agency that the investment in the construction of the new hall is about € 17 million.

The main themes on Slovakia´s office, retail and industrial markets in the fourth quarter of 2021 were supply-side shortfalls and rising prices. Lease transactions on Bratislava's office market reached approx. 98,000 sqm in Q4 2021, which represents a 124% increase in leasing activity compared to the previous quarter. The Bratislava Research Forum announced the office market figures for Q4 2021.
